Amazon - Is it worth it?

Arhhhhhhhhhhh - it''s the second time ordering from Amazon that my stuff hasn't come. Now i'm an easy going person but I hate all the messing around. With my other perchase i had to get a refund which took ages and caused me alot of bother - i don't want it to happen again with this other order. truth be told the item was from a secondary seller but still should I give up on Amazon and go shopping elsewhere???

I have used Amazon and never had any problem with them at all. But play.com is my most favourite site for easy shopping.

You must be unlucky - I've never had a problem with Amazon - great service when something developed a fault too!

There's something about their corrugated cardboard which offends me.
Life is far too short to corrugate cardboard. :pimp:

And it also annoys me that they make it with glue which means you can never re-use the packaging again.

Boycot Amazon, they're bad people.

Amazon - Is it worth it?
Yesterday i would of said i had never had a problem with Amazon, but ive changed my mind this morning.

I placed an order with them on or about the 5th Dec. The delivery was 11-15th Dec. This was fine as there were some Xmas pressies within the order.

I had an email this morning saying that one item was holding the others up .... so i deleted the item. But its still saying the other items will be with me between 18-28th Dec  So now i dont know what to do.

Why didnt they let me know earlier than one of the items was going to be a problem - why wait until the last day of the original delivery slot to tell me.

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

See it's really annoying. Maybe i'm so unlucky that it all happens to me. According to their selling thing sellers should send the item within two days of it being ordered. :mad2: That's just crap. I would believe it if they said that delivery was a bit slow, because it's christmas and all, but it's so damn frustrating. They are good with dealing with items that haven't been recieved, apparently customers are covered for a few months afterwards if it doesn't arrive. But I don't want to do that cause it takes a couple of weeks for them to approve it and for the money to go back into my account.
