Another year, another resolution

So, the last activity on the site is something from 'MaryDarcy' giving her valuable opinion on Lausanne along with a link that ells us how to remove ugly stretch marks.

useful as all this is, I really want something more challenging such as:

- why are we where we are now and what could have prevented it?

- haydon rouse get out from under your rock

- groucho, have you switched political parties yet, if not how long do you need?

- dolores have you and your sister fallen out for good?

- everone else - say something meaningful for ****'s sake and that includes you, flying pig lady.

Good God, what's happened to this place? I've not visited for ages but was expecting at least some of the regulars to still be posting. It's like a ghost site. Which reminds me - has the 'haunted natterbox' suffered a similar fate or are they still going strong?

God no, but bloody hell, aren't they all starting to look the same!

I still believe in smaller Government, lower taxes, an incentive to create wealth, letting people decide how to spend their own money, rather than taxing them and spending it for them.

I still believe that the problem with a large state sector is that is creates no wealth, simply sucks money from the system!

I believe that state sector final salary pension schemes will eventually bring the country to it's knees, as they are largely unfunded!

And I believe that there are not enough blow jobs in the world!

That is the end of the party political broadcast by the Groucho Party!

Known fact those with money unlikely to share it so have to have it forcibly removed from their pockets to help those who genuinely need help.

Mrs SF has collected money house to house for Christian aid. Haslemere is a funny mix of have nots on the council estate and just up the road the haves in their big houses - and these haves have a hell of a lot I can tell you. Guess who are the most generous givers?
