Typical! They produce a chocolate bar with a built-in slimming aid and it gets withdrawn

...

wait for it ....

ice cream, and ...

... rice.

That's terrible Woodsy...absolutely terrible! :bag:

SF...apparently most people who suffer from deli belly after a takeway blame the meat but as you have said 9/10 times its the rice because the local takeaway buys it's rice in sacks and rats pee in it...the chef doesn't always rinse it before cooking and so all the bugs aren't killed...you eat the rice and rat pee and get the runs...yum! :ill:

Ice cream is dodgey in foriegn parts because not all countries pasterise their milk...so we go on our hols...it's hot...we but ice cream and consume all the cow juice bugs...double yum!:ill: :ill:

Now...in all honesty...I bought a 250g bar of Dairy Milk two days ago and have eaten all but two bars of it...I am looking at the last two bars now and wondering if I should eat them...I have not felt ill at all from my previous consumption so have decided I shall go for it...if you don't hear from me for a while you know why...:ill:

Actually...how can they do a recall of chocolate...I mean how many of us here go into a shop buy a big bar of chocky and then leave it untouched long enough for a recall to firstly be sent out and secondly be noticed by you

What I can't understand is when I saw this on the news tonight, they knew about this in January and one of the brands that were suspect was button easter eggs.

Did they recall them then?
No because they wouldn't have sold as many easter eggs!
So they send out loads of eggs knowing full well of the risks, but don't do anything about it until now!

Anyway, it's probably another one of those hyped up things that causes panic in consumers but no real risk.
