Christmas cheer.

Well it had to start sometime. [Image: icon_biggrin.gif]
Put your christmas stuff here.
This year i have just songs on my site, you are all welcome to sing along or not as you wish.
For the bored there is my 'twelve songs of christmas', funnily enough numbered song 1 through 12. [Image: icon_razz.gif]
Can you guess them all?
The highest selling christmas song of all time went down especially well with the troops away from home at the time.
I would like to dedicate it to those troops away from home this christmas, with the hope that they will soon return safely home.

Christmas cheer.
Humbug humbug humbuc secrets How can you justify all thet expese when half the world is starving. There is no Christmas cheer on the palnet just capitalist selfishness. Christmas has been hijacked by the consumer industry. We are manipulated into overspending on oppressive items that further entrap us like game consuls.
It should not be aabout gifts it should be about refelection.

Christmas come but once ayear
Fill up credit cards
Drink lots of beer
Eat and drink the stuff that makes you ill
Waste GP time looking for a pill
Fight with the relatives
Moan at the gifts
Tell 'em you spent more than you earn
Yet got given rubbish in return
Feel unappreciated and overworked
Brussels boilt dry and puuding has burnt
The crackers are not the only things to snap
Your drop the dinner in aloved ones lap
They had it coming
been brewing all year
Young uns exit they know whats to come
Up the stairs to have some fun
Leaving adults on round one
Full throttle accusation
Recrimination and Abuse
They had it coming
been brewing all year
All that was needed fro the truth to out
Was a bit of God ole christmas cheer

Oh give it a rest!
I moved it because it was in the debating forum and as far as I can see, it's more chit-chat than debate.
I agree, your post could certainly be open for debate so why don't you start a new topic in the debating forum?

to each their own but why? what was it that made you decide it was so important to move it. Christams is a dual topic and secrets is one of the few with an intelligent enough sense of parody to get that. Christmas is not just fun it is stress, there is more suicide, death from ilness and accidents, relationships ending etc over this so called Festive period. Maybe by putting it in soapbox secret was saying something more...ther are hints in his post......mind you i tried that approach and got moved to. Moderate language moderate porn but not choice.......troops away from home....secrets been in the army its not all joy. Secrets is too clever for you and has too much subtle depth SO NO I will not give such an overbearing authoritarian petty authoritarian response a rest. Iam so furious. It was his thread put where he wanted it because it is a serious topic presented in alow key light secrets style approach..

Why on Earth are you getting all worked up over a moved-topic? This isn't some sort of attack on secrets as you seem to think so stop being nasty.
