Anyone else wish he'd just bog off?
I'm tired of these 'illusions' of his - and now his latest, to spend a week in an underwater aquarium - why? That's not magic it's just silliness.
I used to like him when he had that program on Ch 4 but now he's just become too pig-headed and thinks that we actually want to see him suspended in a glass box over the Thames, or surviving in a block of ice etc. I, for one, couldn't care less what he does next and wish he would retire from the public eye, taking his sheer arrogance with him.

He irritates me too PJ. Like you say - surviving in a tank of water with an oxygen mask isnt magic ..... anyone could do it (if they were stupid enough).

It like the box over the river thames - why ? I actually went to see him, and there were crowds of onlookers, including the Grimm Reaper walking around. But it isnt magic.

The only magic that could occur is if he wasnt really in the box / tank of water .... but he is

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

Agreed Bonnie. I wish he'd learn some real magic and make himself disappear :glare:

What's wrong with it? It's just an endurance test. Draws the crowds, gives them some entertainment - better than Paul Daniels surely?

My view is that every beggger-with-a-u can choose their own route to damnation, but i just hope he pays generously for the medical attention he'll no doubt receive when he surfaces.

If he wasn't famous, he'd be sectioned. IMO :bag:

Well, the silly sod failed in his attempt to hold his breath and had to be rescued.

He will receive £9 million (or maybe dollars  ) for his 7 days in the tank. Not bad huh.

Blimey. Who's paying him that much, and more to the point, why?
