December Sprout Debate

I personally can`t stand them. Have never cooked them so we`ve never had them at the Breeze christmas table. There is only my brother that really loves them but everyone else either hates them or not bothered about them.
Does anyone else like them?

I'm standing firmly in the SPROUTS ARE FAB camp. I love sprouts.

I don't love what they do tome, but I love them nonetheless.:pimp:

I like sprouts but nobody else does so I can't be bothered to do them just for myself (I don't like frozen ones).

I had sprouts with chestnuts in a restaurant the other day, always wondered with that tasted like. It was, erm.., like sprouts with tasteless lumps of paste-like substance. Not high on my list of must-haves.

I don't understand the British hysterical sprout-fest that happens around Christmas. THis is not a vegetable to get excited about. It tastes bitter, and is ugly and takes ages to prepare. Compare this to the svelte fine green bean!

I presume you are refering to the French green bean as Svelte cos as in many things ours is the Broad variety!!

I don't like them, but I force myself to eat one at Christmas purely out of superstition and tradition.
