I did wonder how Mr Gaytrousers would get on with another of his kind in the house, would it be all love and affection, or would there be a stand-off?

Seems to be the latter, they don't seem to like each other much.

I reckon it's the only-gay-in-the-village syndrome, making Dickie uncomfortable having someone who's a bit like him around - a bit too much like looking in a mirror.

On the other hand, perhaps Michael has habits that make him a bit unpalatable. Thank goodness we haven't seen the one-man wankfest he seemed to be promising in his tape. But I did find the pickin-his-nose-and-chewin-it exam episode rather yukky.

Richard seems completely oblivious to the fact that Michael hates him. I know he said that Michael seems uncomfortable around him but I honestly don't think he puts it down to Michael not liking him.

And yes, I had to turn away when Michael was nose picking. Yuck!

Michael is such a bore though isnt he, and although Richard can be annoying - at least he has some energy and life.

I can see why they wouldnt get on as their personalities are totally different.

Although Richard can be a bit of a tosspot sometimes, I love his waspish wit. Michael is as dull as ditchwater. Wouldnt notice if he was there or not. He looks grubby as well.

Apparently he is. He wore the same underpants for over a week - and the housemates took the mickey out of him. It also took him a while to find the bath. The way he wallows in the bath though makes him look like a walrus.
