Early Doors...genius

Is anyone catching the reruns on whatever channel it was on last night at 9.20?

Every part of Early Doors is funnier and has more charm than any aspect of Little Britain and yet it goes unheralded and the odious LB gets all the plaudits - maybe its for the best.

The human feeling and observation that pervades ED is to behold - genius

I saw a lot of the first series of this and loved it too.

But I also loved little Britian too.

Have you seen The Royal Family with Craig Cash...spendid stuff.

I couldn't put my finger on why Early Doors wasn't more widely accoladed Isle. I thought it was absolutely sublimley brilliant in every aspect, the casting, the script, the humour and the pathos .... absolutely great .... but I could never find anyone else who'd seen it. All the characters are so well drawn.

I didn't watch all of them as it was one of those programmes that the Beeb felt they could change the slot for some other old tosh at a moment's notice.
I would like to see it repeated again. Has it only been one series?

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

Early Doors is quite simply brilliant. I have watched every series and laughed and shed a tear for Ken. I cannot understand why it is tucked away on a 1030 Monday evening slot when total rubbish gets prime time. An EXTREMELY UNDERATED programme.
