Eek! A mouse...

Eek! A mouse...

...in my kitchen. it's eaten a chunk out of each of six nectarines.

I think it's the one my half-baked excuse of a cat brought in about a week ago and which I thought had gone under the bath to die. The lack of rotting mouse corpse stench makes me think it's recovered enough to risk a little fruit

However, I saw it this morning (more than the bleeding cat did :evilmadSmile- it's a bit slow and seems to be dragging a hind leg. So, do I do what I would normally, and buy a mega mouse trap and zap the b*gger, or do I give in to sentimentality and get a humane one and let it take its chances elsewhere?

I'm not risking the cat on it - if it ends up with another gammy leg, I'll end up having to build it little mouse crutches :bag:

Catch it humanely, give it a bit of solid food, set it free to take its chances and get rid of the cat.

:good:

Hmmmm, tricky.

I personally would do it humainly. I like mice, and i think he should be given a second chance at life.

Now if it were a rat i would be telling you to kill the b*stard :glare:

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

I'd save him, then release him to the wild, then let nature take it's course

(let the cat out)

My cat would only bring it back again.

But Big Barney over the road won't :w00t:

OK The 'Big Cheese' traps are now set. I'm so excited.
