Fear Factor U.S.A.

Is anyone watching? it's on every night on Challange at 9pm.

Me and my kids are addicted, last night they had to eat road kill, oh man it was vile.:shocking:

Oh and the guy who presents it , i have such a big crush on him.

How much easier it is to be critical than to be correct.

I think the eating tasks are just too dreadful to watch ... I can't believe what some people will do for money on national tv or that the tv companies are so evil to think these things up and watch people humiliate themselves for our enjoyment!

... and to think we used to laugh at the clips of Endurance the Japanese gameshow that Clive James used to feature, thinking it would never happen on our tv screens!

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

I watched a couple of these on Sky yesterday. They might be old shows - but they were enjoyable.

One task was disgusting. Im not too sure what it was but they liquidised some rotten ostrich eggs (I think) and they had to drink this milkshake concoction and they press a button which propelled them into the air.

It was gruesome ... but kinda watchable.

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

I know i seem to be the only one posting in this thread, but i watch a Fear Factor last night ... and nearly threw up.

Some of the trials are really interesting, and you do need strength and stamina, but the eating ones are just gross.

Last night you had three teams and they had to pick a picnic basket each. When they looked inside the basket they all had a drink of something revolting (one of them contained alive flies). There was also a rotten tuna fish sandwich with maggots. A sausage made of worms which were still wiggling. A worm concoction with a sauce and a corn on the cob with maggots and some other sort of worm.

These poor people had to eat their meals in 5 mins.

I really did almost throw up ... and im not normally too bad watching people eat yucky stuff (like the kangaroo balls on IAC). But it really was too much.

The things some people will do for $50k :wink2:
