Free Energy Saver Lightbulbs
Hello Seabreeze,

I started buying energy saving lightbulbs some time ago. So I personally think they are useless.

I think there is a problem with them they do not give out as much light. So to really get say a 100 watts of light you'd need 2 or 3 bulbs on instead of 1. Otherwise it can sometimes feel like working in little better than candlelight.

The old light bulbs which would give out a 100 wats of light were great even though they burned more energy and didn't last any length of time.

I am curious whether the electrical companies intend bringing out small ones to use in place of candle bulbs that are in the wide range of fancy light fixtures some people have. I have two austrian crystal chandeliers the present energy size bulbs will be of no use in these.

If these bulbs are going to be crap they should be free.

Its a jolly good idea that the lighting companies don't take this idea seriously.

Free chandeliers.

The two in my home were last valued at a 1,000.00 pounds each in 1999 and one of them is irreplaceable.

What a shame. Is it superglued to the ceiling?
