Going to buy an iPod - a few questions first...

Right, I've decided to splash out and buy an iPod nano. One with 4GB of space will be more than enough for me.

But - what colour do you think I should go for: black or white? (I'm thinking white as black ones are too common now but for some reason you can't a white one from the apple website)

So, I was looking on this other site - http://www.foneplanet.com - and they are selling a white 4GB iPod nano for £144.99. With this, you also get a protective case + mains charger + neck strap + sports arm band worth £29.99. Is this good? Has anyone ever used this website before and if so, are they reliable?

Also, I've noticed that some of them come with a "dock adaptor" but this particular one I was looking at doesn't. What is this and is it worth having?

Cheers in advance!

Not sure what a dock adaptor is. But you should get one of these

Oh - and Argos prices are good at the moment.

Does it have to be an i-pod? You can get some excellent MP3 players which are much better value for mone - and have more space - and a longer battery life!

I think that's best otherwise I'll start to question whether I've made a horrible mistake...

Anyway, my iPod nano arrived yesterday. LOVE IT. It's so tiny and compact and the sound quality is amazing. And there are games on it too. I didn't know iPods had games. :applause:
