Growing old gracefully...

..reading a question that Bridge posted earlier has promted this new thread.

Do you grow old gracefully or wind back the clock now and again.

When I was 22 and a size 10 with natural hair half way down my back, small but pert little breasts that actually pointed upwards I swore I wouldn't touch a thing.

Now I am 40 and everything is hard work and you seem to be swimming against the tide. I am quite fit and still trim, though not a 10 anymore I am not much more than a 12+. But its the skin tone...it goes to pot dosn't it, along with the hair density.

I would definately now...if I could be guaranteed of the result and had the money to go to the best.. the following:

Jowel reduction
Eye lift
Breast enhancement
Inner thigh reduction
Skin abrasion treatment all over.

So there

what would you have?

Gin and tonic and a large floaty kaftan - covers most anomallies!!

May have a suitcase removal from my eyes though at a push - esp when I mislay my touche eclait!!

I always cook with wine, and sometimes I actually put it in the food.

Bum, tum and leg lipo is all at the moment.

In 5-10 years maybe a face lift, particularly those furrow lines from the nose that used to appear only when you smiled. The ones like Patrick Troughton had permanently.

I'd have the bloody lot done if I had the money  Everything will be hoiked up so high, I'll be shaving pubes off my cheeks.

I was talking about just this very thing today with my mate who came round and sorted out my accounts. What a coincidence.

I always said I would grow old gracefully but now the time is here I would happily have jowls and brow lift done at the very least. Oh and something done about the little pot belly that has appeared of late.

I would love to have the glossy chestnut locks I once had but it wouldn't suit the change in skin tone I feel you have to go lighter with age maybe thats why we go naturally grey. I cover it with blonde at the moment but would love to find just the right colour.

If I could afford it I would definitely go for a face lift to get rid of the saggy bits round the jowels and would love to get rid of the frown lines that make me look so miserable all the time even when I'm not so a bit of Botox too.

Still after my experience with having Restylane fillers injected (artificial collagen) which left me looking like I'd gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, cost me over £1,000 and lasted about 2 weeks (apart from the permanent scars on my top lip), maybe I'd better just stay as I am. :mad2:
