Hot Cross Banned Poll

Do you agree with the banning of Hot Cross Buns in Schools?

The Telegraph have had to publish a retraction because of this story!

Well I've voted "No" anyway, just in case they should think about it in the future Big Grin.

I know it's been retracted now but what I don't understand is why we, in this country, are supposed to give up all our traditions and religious festivals for fear of upsetting other people, but no other country gives up theirs Sad

Somebody tell me please, why? Have I missed something vital somewhere?

We are?

Anyhows, as I understand the story some areas are not serving hot X buns, but the Telegraph has clasrified that this is not due to any council policies. But I'm not sure why this is a big issue now - surely the kids are all on holiday?
