Insensitive hacking

Yesterday someone tried to hack the twins' website so that a popup message would appear when people logged on, saying 'This site smells'. The hacking attempt didn't work, but I'm just a bit puzzled as to why someone would do that, and on THAT site, of all places?

Don't worry Bonnie - the hacking attempt failed. There was no popup; I could just tell from the logs what it was they had tried to do.

Not a very competent hacker by the looks of it.

To be honest it didn't really trouble me much, but it really bothered Sharon. Sad

I'm sorry to hear about that Blinky. How insensitive and I can really understand why Sharon feels the way she did. That's just awful. It never ceases to amaze me how some people are in this world.

Someone childish with no thought about what they were doing, probably found your site at random, and has done it to other sites too. Glad they were unsuccessful.

That was badness for the sheer badness of it - sadly the world is infiltrated with similar sorts. Thankfully there are more good than bad people - sorry to hear that Blinky - I can completely understand how Sharon feels, I hope she doesn't dwell on it.

I always cook with wine, and sometimes I actually put it in the food.

why do people think it would be fun to do this sort of thing.

Immature and totally irresponsable.
As Sf said a probably total random act of stupidity.
Don't dwell on it too much:hug:

God thats just horrible Blink. I'm not surprised that Sharon was upset - even though your rational mind knows its not personal, emotionally it can be hard not to take it that way.

Sounds like kids, with too much time on their hands and not enough exercise. One day they'll grow up and be ashamed of themselves.

If at first you don't succeed, failure may be your style.
