Has died aged 87. Loved him in City Slickers

she used to be in Bless this House with Sid James, Coastie ... but I'm sure you are far too young to remember!

she often played down to earth cockney types.

she was good at what she did.


I think I only ever really saw Jack Palance in City Slickers and found it disappointing because I felt that his part wasn't very well written or long enough.

Jack was excellent in City Slickers, although you are right, he could have had more to do!

I still have no idea who the woman is...like you said I am too young! :kid:

Bit of anorak trivia for you here. Diana Coupland was a singer and dancer in the sixties and provided the singing voice for Ursula Andress when she first appeared on the beach in Dr No, singing "underneath the mango tree".... Smile
