Serious Question:

After 8 years of Mayor Ken in London, we now have 4 years of Mayor Boris.

What do you think?

I think Boris might have finally found his niche and we could all be surprised.

Failing that, he'll do something really crass, really quickly and create a major crisis.

Personally, I think Boris is a very smart bloke.

I think he'll put a bloody good team in place around him and address many of the problems that Londoners face every day and every night.

Ken paid alot of lip service to his perceived demographic, but actually achieved very little that was of any use to your typical Londoner.

No, I dont.

He's been selected on his own merit and his own personality.

I think maybe Tory Central Office may feel that he's working for them, but when push comes to shove I think he will surprise a few people.

That's why I feel he's found his niche.

I had a boss like him once - very smart, but lethal unleashed and unscripted. He explained it as being because his thought-processes were normally on overdrive and out of synch with his mouth.

Brilliant strategist though, highly astute, inspirational and very generous to his 'happy band of deliverers', so we all worked our socks off for him.

Best boss I ever had and my time with him boosted my career no end.

Natch!

I think the next 4 years will be a good time to live/work in London.

And, if you believe the press, it's the best city in the world!
