Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Im so thrilled there is another one of these on this bank holiday.

I absolutely LOVE Ken Stott who plays DCI Red Metcalfe. I can now see why some people rave over actors and say how charismatic they are. He is a superb actor and I cant take my eyes off the screen when he is on.

Cant wait for this.

I too love Ken Stott and love The Messiah! I can't wait until Ken Stott appears on our screens as DCI John Rebus though, that role was practically made for him!

His new sidekick in the Messiah is Maxine Peake the girl who played Twinkle in Dinner Ladies!

Ohhh I like her. Good actress. She was in Shameless too.
She has lost a boatload of weight since Dinnerladies, hasnt she?

Saw the first 20 misutes of this but had to go out so recorded it. Looked as gruesome and horrific as I was expecting :shocking:
Ken Stot is grade A actor. I don't like the other bloke though, didn't like him inthe last two either, it's the character- just boring.
i like the new female detective too.

The winner says it may be difficult but it is possible; the loser says it may be possible but it is too difficult
:yahoo: He's here!

Oh I like Neil Dudgeon. I think he "under-acts" which I quite like. He's maybe better in lighter dramas. Wasn't he also in Clocking Off?

Love Messiah and Ken Stott and the whole thing. Used to love The Vice too. In fact, probably preferred this because it had some funny moments. Best thing to come out of it last night was a good leering of Hugo Speer.

Very gripping and an hour just isn't enough. Love it.

Not sure about Vicky yet. Can't get past her being Tink in Dinnerladies.
