How do I create a shortcut on my desktop to the current page when using Firefox?

Mozilla Firefox
Click on the website icon in the address bar and drag it to wherever your shortcuts are.

Mozilla Firefox
When I use Internet Explorer to play a video clip from the BBC news site it uses Windows Media Player with no problems.

When I use Firefox to play a video clip it won't do it, says I have to install a plug-in. When I go to the Firefox plugin help page it tells me what a plug-in is, and lists some plug-in downloads including Windows Media Player.

using the download link I re-installed Windows Media Player, but Firefox still will not recognise it, and tells me a plug-in is missing. To check my re-installation had worked I tried IE again, and it picks up Media PLayer no problem.

Question: Any other Firefox user had difficulties like this? To install a Windows Media plug-in do I have to do more than simply 'have' Windows Media on my computer, do I also have to 'plug it in' somehow to Firefox (which is what I'm starting to think - after all why call it a plugin if you don'thave to plug it in)

Thanks guys
