PC Help!

Help! I have turned on my pc this morning and there is a pink tinge to it! Any ideas why this is and how I can rectify it?

Thanks in anticipation!

You mean your computer used to be a grey colour and it now has a pink tinge? Perhaps "House Invaders" slipped in during the night, or maybe it was Lawrence Lleweyln Bowen - sounds like his style.

Sorry Bella! It sounds like your monitor is kaput or on its last legs. What type of monitor do you have? How old is it?

Haydon!! Jokes before 10am I am impressed!!

Re the monitor - we've only had it a few months, it's one of those flat thingies. It has a year guarntee so if it is that looks like we'll be taking it back!

Just what I need for Christmas!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!:wallbash: :wallbash:

I accept no responsibility for any damage caused! Do these at your own risk!

You could try degausing the screen. There is normally a menu button on the front of the monitor. See if you can find something about degaus. It might help.. maybe... possibly.

Check all other settings in the monitor menu.

You could also try gently twisting the screen to see if it returns to normal.

Lastly - try bashing it one! Often a monitor seems to wake up after you've given it a good wack!

Sorry Haydon, I gave you some last week (some people just want, want, want) so I need to spread myself around a bit! Wink

I put you on my list "to do" once my spreading around is done & dusted! :w00t:
