OK, what genius thought it would be a good idea to have us change our passwords every TEN days?

How stupid and pointless is that?

Do the mods have some kind of sinister secret agenda where they're actually trying to drive people away? From making this sites saviour and MVP (that would be me, of course) unable to get private messages or check anyone else's profile to letting the site get so dead members have started posting ha-ha-larious "anti-interest" threads to this farce.

What is going on?

Don't abuse children, or else they'll turn out like me.

Every TEN days??? I only have to change my password every 3 months.

But to answer your question Mudger, no-one knows what's going on. Not even Haydon I think. And I don't think he can be bothered to check it out when the forum has such a slim membership. He is a busy bloke and we don't take priority.

You are not the only person who can't send PM's. I can't either. In fact, the only thing I can do is post.

Give it up. I doubt you'll get an answer to these questions. Just accept that you ain't one of the lucky ones.

Aww Bons, now you've made me feel bad. I would've replied if I'd read your post.

I guess I just wasn't around much in June.

Hmmm - I have to retract that statement. It seems that I can also give Thanks. I've just given it to Bonny. Which is weird, as I wasn't able to give Thanks last week. Not even to the Saviour (which I'm sure is blasphemous)! Although I was able to the week before.

This place getting freakier and freakier.

I'm now going to attempt to send a PM. It'd be cool if I was able to do that for the first time in 12 months. I won't hold my breath.....

Nope - I still can't send PM's. But I can receive them if anyone fancies sending me one.

However, I can use the shoutbox. But I couldn't use it yesterday. But there was one day last week when I could.

Sheesh!

Wait, you wanted to thank ME?

For what?

Yes, amazingly you did actually make a post somewhere that inspired me to want to hit the "Thanks" button. It was the "Racism" thread (before it deviated off into a Reality TV thread).

The reason? I thought it was a potentially an interesting subject and I thought you made some valid points without gratuitously insulting forum members or making sweeping statements about the public at large.

I found it refreshing!

So did I. I was actually formulating a reply in my head, which I may have got around to post, or not, but at least the thread made me think a bit about the issue.

bam bam
