Patronising gits

Nobody likes a smarty pants do they?

today at work I said something about the sandwich lady, that you can't please all the people all the time

my colleague just had to say I'm impressed that you can paraphrase Abraham Lincoln - as if I didnt' know where it came from? patronising git!

(I didn't reveal that I always thought that President Kennedy had said it) ...

he's still a patronising git!

You should have told him he was a patronising bunt, and he also didn't know you could paraphrase your sister.

I find it's best not to re read my own posts, they're usually an embarrassment.

for the sake of work relationships I let it pass, I thought that made me the bigger person.

I thought he'd learned his lesson the week before when he was showing off about Pivot tables in Excel thinking no-one else understood them ... why are patronising gits such slow learners?!

Well, personally, I've been using excel pretty darned extensively for about 7 years now and I've never once found a viable use for pivot tables apart from showing off. Databases are a much more effective tool IMO :nerd: .
