Performing Arts Agency fees?

I wonder if anyone can help. Does anyone know what the average commission a performing arts agency takes for child actor/actresses? We're talking London agency - although I assume they are all pretty much the same?

Hello Haydon,

Most agents charge between 10% and 15% for the jobs they manage to book, ie modelling, acting singing etc. The same rate is charged against childrens real salaries.

They are not allowed to charge up front on the promsie of work. That is at present illegal. They should not charge a registration fee either so this is one you will have to be careful they don't try on.

All children below school leaving age must be licensed to perform in a professional venue.

The Juliet Adams agency is based in Chiswick they may be able to help you further.
