OK...over the last couple of days I have noticed that we are getting away with more and more 'naughty' words. Haydon has obviously realised the calibre of person he has on this forum and is allowing us to swear without it being blanked out.

Now do we want this to happen? Are we happy being allowed to swear or do we prefer the task of trying to find our way around the swear filter?

What are your thoughts??

And what words can we get away with now??

I know my view will not be the popular one but I am personally not happy about it! I would prefer that words like wankers & bollocks were filtered.

And I don't understand why **** and **** are filtered when they are not!

I would personally prefer that we continue to be filtered. Don't want my kids to be able to look over my shoulder to see what an unsavoury lot I'm associating with. :ninja: Chat's a different matter, they're not usually around when I'm in there, but if they are they know they can't look because there may be swearing.

I agree with ILS and Patsy. I like to be able to swear freely in chat, but on the forum it's here forever and it's public. And kids can come here too. I think the occasional circumnavigation can be amusing, but if filtering stays removed it'll be all over the forum.
