Playing with fire

So, do you, have you, would you?

Have you taken risks that at the outset look like a risky venture, whether it be with events or people because it seemed like a good idea at the time?

Have you allowed 'need' to overcome common sense and logic knowing that you might get your fingers burnt along the way? What was the result and do you stand by your decision because it has made you what you are today, or would you go back and do things differently?

And am I being too nosey? Smile

Yes

Yes

and Yes !

Life is too short to always do what you should do and not what you need (or really feel you need) to.

I suppose you just have to go with the flow and realise that, if it all goes pear shaped, you took that choice.

I doubt if anyone can honestly say no to all three, whether it be business, relationship or whatever.

I guess that old adage is true, we live and learn Smile

Playing with fire
Sometimes all I seem to do is play with fire and if the flames aren't hot enough I poke it and prod it until it flames back into life!!

But hey ho nothing ventured nothing gained! The older I get the less I see it as a risk and more as a necessity!

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

I have done many lunatic things and more often than not they have gone horribly wrong, but do you know what? I don't see it that way. I would rather have tried for what I wanted and failed than just sat there bemoaning my life and never doing anything about it! So yes I do take risks, and I don't really care whether they go "wrong" or not - at least I know I gave it my best shot! Big Grin

I love playing fire, and will regularly take a match to an aerosol can. Especially effective against wasps.
