Pregnancy Predictor Advert

Did anyone see this advert last night? I thought it was a wind up - it showed this new Clear Blue pregnancy predictor and went on about how this was the best ever and it digitally enhanced and then the voice over said it will be the most advanced piece of equipment (or words to this effect) you will ever PEE on!! I may have got the wording wrong but he definitely said PEE on and then it showed gushing water coming down onto the predictor stick.:shocking:

It just all seemed a bit too much information for me!!:w00t:

I didn't see it Bella.

But I always re-coil from the screen slightly when people on tv programmes wave about pregnacy test kits.

For example on a comedy like Friends when Rachel did her pregnancy test (weeing on a stick) then Phoebe picked up the stick and started waving it around!! not pleasant really is it!!!

It's like a used tampon - only one set of hands needs to handle it!! (not that I need both hands to pull my tampon out ... I hasten to add) Blush ... now surely that REALLY is too much information!!!! :bag:

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

I haven't seen it either but it sounds boring. I doubt the pee thing would bother me though, although I wouldn't volunteer to collect all the used pregnancy tests in the world, I'd happily pick up a friends. Things like that don't really bother me too much... not like dull adverts Big Grin

I've seen it. I agree, bella. What a silly advert. Very cheesy. Although I did get the impression that the voice over is meant to be slightly tongue-in-cheek.
