Protect Your Privacy Issue.

HELLO HAYDON,

I don't know if anyone has had any problems in this area to date, but having just read your article titled PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY ONLINE. It is an excellent little tutorial which I am sure may come in handy to remember.

Again I know you commented once to me on teaching a granny to suck eggs but in all honesty its truly useful to have these little reminders, because all of us can at some point get into routines which might not be to our advantage.

Great.

Thanks Maureen,

It amazes me how many members email me asking for a change in username because they are getting stalked or someone can see and track their activity/comments online.

This is the article/announcement that Maureen is referring to:

When you say these forums can be viewed by anyone - I thought that the Coffee Lounge was only viewable by members? Is that not the case? Must remember to be more discreet when talking about family/friends Blush

Well certain sections can't be viewed by guests (eg Coffee Lounge) - but it's very easy for anyone to register and then they can see everything.

Hello Haydon,

It's not possible for those registering to read the private mail section where members send messages to one another is it?
