Saving a chart

Can anyone tell me how to save a chart (graph) from an Excel spreadsgeet as a .jpg file? I want to save the chart only, not the whole spreadsheet.

Many thanks.

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way, but have you tried cutting and pasting the chart into Paint (mine is under Accessories). You should then be able to save it as a jpeg file.

Just a guess...

I shall give it a go Fee, thanks for that. And if it works you will be able to see in the diet thread a chart of how my weight is changing, down hopefully not up.

I tried all sorts when I made my wonderfull Big Brother elimination chart. Couldn't get it to work anywhere - Blink did it for me and I still don't know how. Blinks the man called Stan Swerve.

PS I had a dream about you last night Swerve - you were sunbathing on a beach in Cornwall will mates.

I just took a screen capture and cropped it in Paint Shop Pro. Definitely the easiest way for me.

Swerve, if you've got Adobe Acrobat, make as if to print the chart, but select Adobe as the printer, which will save the chart as a pdf file without actually printing it.

Then open the pdf file you've just created and save it as a jpeg.
