I personally favour sconnes, scohnes is sooo pretentious.

but do you know what I know some lower class quite common people who say schonnes - do you think they are pretentious or it's a regional dialect thing?

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

Scohnes here. Funny, but for me it's sconz that sounds pretentious. After all it's phones not fonz, bones not bonz, jones not jonz.

I like to eat a scohne after a couple of Nice biscuits.

By the way, is that 'nice' or 'niece'?

Ah yes, but it's full of foreigners and they don't eater proper english food.

actually I was going to ask how you thought it was going and how you would rate it and when we could go on to discuss really important stuff, like is the evening meal called tea or dinner ...
