Seasonal threads thread

To save space I was wondering if we could put all the usual seasonal threads together in one. We can cover things like:

Is Christmas getting earlier each year?

Have you sent your cards yet?

What are you getting for Christmas?

Trick or treating - what do you think of it?

Fireworks, should they be banned?

etc.

Or we could post links to last year's threads and save even more space.

Ah, where's the fun in that, Swerve? You know how some of us SO members like to say the same things year in year out.

I wish! sometimes I will say somethings black and a year later that it's white - I'm very contradictory and didnt' really realise it until I started commiting stuff to cyber space for all eternity to read back at my leisure!

In answer to SF questions:

Yes Christmas is getting earlier and earlier in the commericial sense...just ask Selfidges and the other big London stores! I do not like this fact:evilmad:

No I haven't done anything towards Christmas yet this year...I usually leave all that until about a week or two before Blush

I hate trick or treating and I would very much like for those who choose to partake in it to respect the un-written rules of it...if there isn't a porch light on or a pumpkin in the window sod off!

Fireworks should only be allowed during bonfire night and the closest weekend to it so that people with pets do not have to cope with petrified animals for more than a couple of days a year and local wildlife doesn't have to have the crud scared out of it repeatedly either...the only fireworks that should be allowed are the silent ones aswell and all displys should be over with by 22:00 so that people can get some sleep!

I like this idea for a thread SF! Smile
