Smiley Problem

When I post from work, my clickable smilies work fine. However when I post from home, the "close current tag" and "close all tags" buttons just have a red cross on them, and when I click on a smiley nothing happens. It doesn't matter whether I use Internet Explorer or Mozilla. Help - I can't stand being smiley-less!!

NB. My smileys are enabled according to my preferences.

Version 6 for Windows XP. Thing is I still have the problem even when I use Mozilla as well. It won't let me access any of the HTML type buttons or any of the smilies!!

Attachments - users are unable to post attachments - except in the Photo forum.

HTML - Html is turned off for users. It presents a security risk when it is turned on.

Ceridwen - I'm sorry, I don't know really know what the problem is. I'm assuming that the clickable smilies are done/programmed using javascript. I think it has to be something to do with your browser or it's settings. Do you have javascript switched on/allowed?

Internet Explorer 6.x
Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
In the Security dialog box, click on the globe for Internet zone.
Click Custom Level button.
In the dialog that appears, scroll down to the heading called Scripting.
Click the Enable button under Active Scripting.
