Snoring

Does anyone know a foolproof way of stopping someone snoring. If so, could they let me know, before I feel it necessary to murder Mr P in his sleep?

He practically sucks the wardrobe door open with inhaling snores and bangs it shut again with exhaley ones. Its driving me mental, as Im finding it hard to sleep.

Help, someone please - before I start looking like Dot Cotton's older. more careworn sister !

If I had one, I'd patent it. Smothering is the only option, I fear.

Pan, a sharp dig to the ribs should do the trick. This is Miss PJ's method :glare:

Maybe a seperate bedroom. Or if it is really bad a seperate bedroom that is soundproof. And if still you can hear it, dump him and get a new house...

Strangely enough they have been advertising a spray on the TV lately. It's another of the JML things (the ones who brought us the pancake maker, the mini sewing machine, the ironing board cover, etc. etc.). I remember thinking that it was a strange thing for them because it's not a gadget, it's some kind of lubricating spray that's supposed to stop snoring!

I've been fighting "snorer's wife syndrome" for 20 odd years now so I do sympathise. I never found anything that worked so I just plug in my earphones and turn my radio up so I don't hear it so much. I have taken myself off to the spare room occasionally when I couldn't stand it any more.

I wonder of the JML thing is worth trying?
