Strictly Dance Fever!

Starts tonight- I can't wait, I love dancing (by myself in my bedroom, in front of my mirror)
I heard the auditions are hilarious. Nothing like a load of bitchy dancers in a room together, and that's just the boys

The winner says it may be difficult but it is possible; the loser says it may be possible but it is too difficult
:yahoo: He's here!

I forgot to say that this was complete pants!
Graham Norton was :pooh: and if you blinked you missed the contestants being eliminated. Didn’t warm to the judges, although I do like Arlene from the real SCD.
Thought the whole thing looked like it had been filmed in the church hall down the road here.

God almighty, how embarrassingly crap is this show???? All the money the Beeb have paid to poach Graham Norton from Channel Four and they give him this turkey of a show to present? As someone as said, it looks like it has a budget of about 45p a show....

Awful awful awful ...... (as for the dancers - words fail me)

Liking the cut of your jib.........[Image: aniburns.gif]

i watched this for the first time last night, and i have to say not bad. dancing could be better but i love watching this sort of stuff so im liking it! i thought the ballet freestyle couple shouldve got through, that guy was really good for having no training and i think the judges shouldvve given him a chance! and another couple went through who did a complete and utter copy of the hand jive dance sequence in grease. the exact same moves!! even i knew it! and i cant beleive they got through for that! thought it was about being original too!

I am quite enjoying this even though it is pretty cheap!.

I wish they would show more of the auditions as like on Pop Idol/American Idol they can be hilarious.

I have found the standard of the dancing pretty poor though. I have seen so much better from girls and boys of around 14/15 at competitions my daughter attended when she was young.

Kooks - I agree about both couples you mentioned.I just couldn't believe the ballet freestyle couple didn't get through they were so much better than the couple that beat them. I thought the jive style couple were good but as you say the routine was copied from Grease and it is suppose to be their own choreography...
