Stupid things you've bought

I've just been in Tesco food shopping and ended up buying a laminator. I don't know what on earth I'll be laminating but it was only £15 and I just bought it because I could.
What's the silliest thing you've ever bought then?

Peej, I can't live without my laminator!!! Of course I'm a pre-school teacher...always needing to laminate. I bought two costume rings on clearance...didn't need them, waste of $5.00 and they turned my finger black when I perspired. That's my contribution...:pimp:

I guess I'm Cornish...

 I'm so with you on this PJ. I keep looking at laminators and I want one but haven't a clue what I'd use it for. I just keep getting the feeling that one day I will want to laminate something and I should have one just in case :ninja:

I've just ordered a Juicer off the shopping channel but I've got a feeling that it will turn into just another white elephant Blush

£15 in Tesco you say? Smile

Crit, you could have had my old juicer. I used it religiously for about 4 months, then it languished next to the breadmaker.

But I've just given it to my neighbour's daughters. Why? I bought a nice new shiny red one that was half-price.

Would you be interested in an ice-cream maker? You can have it for a tenner and then the laminator will only cost me a fiver.

I soooo want a laminator, have for ages, but so far have been really good and resisted... I'm sure it would only join my shredder, v-slicer, treadmill and excercise bike in dust gathering Big Grin

A cream maker, bought from the Ideal Home a few years ago. By the time you buy butter and put in the machine and faff around you may as well have bought cream from the supermarket. Had to have it tho!!!

I have a laminator. It lives in the garage under 10 boxes of ****e.

Samm, your christmas present awaits your collection :pimp:

I want a bagel maker, but I don't know if they exist. Anyone?

Sorry Fee - can't be bothered with an ice-cream maker (like I probably won't be bothered with a Juicer - I mean, don't you have to buy fresh fruit and vegetables to use in it? - mine usually come frozen or in a tin Blush)

Well someone must make them - but I think slavery is illegal!

And Floops, you really shouldn't have.... Big Grin
