The Curmudgeon has returned to save this website.

Well, well, well. It HAS been a while, hasn't it?

So yes, I am Proclamation, and indeed I am the IHM (that would be Irresponsible Hate Monger). And, yes - I am here to save you all.

Save you from WHAT, exactly? Why - yourselves, of course.

You see, I happened to venture back into here last week and this place was like a ghost town. Almost every thread category I went into hadn't had a new conversation in over 30 days. And the most recent threads that DID have hits? They ranged from the tedious (Carol Voderman quits Countdown! Aieeee!), the predictable (wow, Big Brother chat. Who'd have thought slow-witted dullards liked Big Brother?) to the mind-numbingly boring (Water Meters?! Seriously, that's what you people are talking about now?)

This website has almost, (ALMOST) been killed stone dead by the majority of mundane and witless surviving members. And it's going to be a large, difficult task, but I have taken it upon myself to bring it back from the brink, like I did once before - and save you all.

Haydon - feel free to thank me anytime you like.

So, no more codes, no more hidden messages or backwards writing - the secret is out, and The Curmudgeon is BACK, and this website will soon become a vital place to be.

Hold on to your wigs.

Don't abuse children, or else they'll turn out like me.

Just checked - and Yup - I'm feeling mundane and witless again today.:yahoo:

I'm off now to watch the box set of Countdown (with Richard Whitely of course), kiss my photograph of Davina, cook a large curry with basmati rice, and have a good long read of my water meter .

Life is good.

bam bam

Well no. This is Curmy's second coming, so by defintion the first coming was also Curmy's.

I have no idea how many times Grouch has come on behalf of Haydon's members. There are some things it is best not to ponder on....
