The Darkness New Single...

Can anyone explain the title?

One Way Ticket to H*ll & Back...........

If it is a One Way Ticket, how can you come back?

Strange, very strange!

Im personally not a fan of the Darkness. I know they have been around for ages and only just become popular, but other than 'A thing called love' i think every other song they have produced has been pants.

Ill never forget them at a televised music awards show, and they were acting as if they were demi gods. I have news for you Darkness .... you arent :ninja:

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

I agree Bonny, although I know Max won't!:ninja:

Justin Hawkins is stuck in a time-warp and when I first heard them I honestly thought they were a spoof band!

He threw a bit of tantrum at the Band Aid re-launch last year as he wanted to sing a bit that someone else claimed (it might have been Bono's bit, can't remember), and off he went in the huff!

Methinks his ego is a lot bigger than him!

Bella, have you been writing into the Metro letters page recently? Someone wrote in asking this very same question!

I agree - surely it should be a return ticket they need? Oh well.

While we're on the subject, I used to like the Darkness and even went to see them in concert not that long ago. But they bore me now.

Wasn't me PJ, but nice to know it isn't just me that is puzzled?

I was thinking the very same thing on the way to work yesterday morning, Bella! How strange, indeed. I was pondering that maybe the title was a play on words like "........ to Helen Back" or something, a bit like Helen Wheels by Wings.

There was a movie called To Hell and Back.

Is the song about getting the Tube to Leicester Square to see it in the cinema there. And afterwards do they go to Garfunkels for pizza and a large help-yourself-from-the-salad-bar? And maybe a Starbucks to drink on the train home?

It sounds a nice tune.
