The House of Eliot

Anyone remember this?

It's on UKDrama at the moment - all the early episodes. It's every bit as awful as remember it!

It's fab

I remember it...bloomin marvelous prog, learnt me to understand "hoot cuisene" it did.

Love the main character Evie...I waited for a girl to give that name too, boy after boy after boy. It was not to be. But this was where I got the name from.

Has it just started? I will set my series video programmer.

hoot cuisene? aren't you confusing it with the equally lavish period production from the BBC The Duchess of Duke Street, Cat?

... i only came online to visit Delia's site for tips on how to season a frying pan ...

Oh and i have to suffer 'Upstairs Downstairs ' at regular intervals too - as Mrs secrets has every episode - and some you cannot get easily on the open market.

No, Evangeline was the dark haired one.

I like Jack the Photographer. Gorgeous voice.

Oh I remember adoring this, I think it was one of the first period dramas I voluntarily watched and really enjoyed.

Fee when, where and what time is it repeated.

I always cook with wine, and sometimes I actually put it in the food.

Yes I loved this. Stella Gonet was the older fair haired sister that married Jack the sexy voiced photographer. The actress who played the younger sister was very very pretty, but I dont remember ever seeing her in anything else.
