The SAVE BLUEY thread

From the sentimental thread

Figaro Wrote:I chuck nearly everything. I can't stand clutter and crap.

The only things I've ever kept for sentimental reasons are Bluey, my childhood teddy bear and an old necklace of my grandmothers which is neither valuable nor is it something I would wear.

I'll probably hang onto the necklace forever, but Bluey's time is up, I'm afraid.

You heartless wench.........

I'm going to get the News of the Screws onto this story.

I not normally a violent person but this makes my blood biol :mad2:

I'd watch you back if I were you

Figaro Wrote:Well, I was hanging onto him with the vague idea that if I ever had a child, it might be nice to pass him on. But I've given up hope on that idea now. Besides, Bluey's looking a bit tatty these days. His right ear has come off several times and been re-sewn, and he has a split down his tummy which I can't be bothered to mend. This is a picture of Bluey taken about 5 minutes ago

You laugh at him while you openly neglect him

Aww Slipper. I had no idea that you were so sentimental.

I'm afraid that Bluey has to go though. I just don't have room in my life for him any longer. I had envisaged just chucking him down the local council tip (he really is too tatty for Oxfam), but perhaps you'd like to adopt him instead? Far more humane I'dve thought.

I've posted a quite fetching picture of him in the sentimental thread if you'd prefer to look before you adopt...

Ah. I see that you've seen the picture.

He does look kinda cute in it. I can see why my actions could prompt such outrage. But really, you don't know the whole story. Bluey has been stuck in a drawer full of ski-socks and thermal underwear for years. What kind of life is that for a cuddly toy? Far better to just send him to the recyling centre and get him turned into cheap sofa stuffing or something. Make him feel like he is contributing to society.

Or re-house him.....
