For the speaking clock but could you be the new voice?

Do people actually still use this service as I know I haven`t for many years?

The only time I use it is when we put the clocks forward/back, so as to ensure to the minute what the right time should be for the clocks/vid/mobile etc

I think for revenge purposes it can still provide a service!

I read once that some spurned woman went into her ex's flat and dialled the speaking clock in New York and just left the phone off the hook all day!!

I don't personally use it cos I'm too mean - also I have a radio controlled clock which is pretty darn accurate (I may stay up until 2am on Sunday just to watch it whizz back 24 hours!!).

Just replace the battery in it for the same effect Smile

Colonial Question here... is this like when you call time and temp?? They come on and say 'the time is ... and the current temprature is ...'??Huh I do this most mornings (unless msboy #1 has beat me to it!:mad2: ) to see mainly what the weather will be for the day and what the current temp is, although we have 3 inside/outside temp gauges in the house. We do it at work as well on warmer or cooler days to make sure we are in our min/max requirements. :nerd:

I guess I'm Cornish...
