Warning, critical errors

Now that I'm on broadband Im getting a few more messages/pop ups coming through.

I've just had one that says I have critical errors on my pc and if I click on continue the wizard will improve the performance.
It then asks me to download the program "error guard"
I haven't downloaded it yet cause I don't know if its for real or not.

I've been to the microsoft site recently and done the scan and it says I don't have any critical updates to install.

I'm a bit wary of this one, has anyone else seen it?

You are aboslutely right Andrea. Don't ever click on one of those, otherwise before you know it you've signed up for a subscription to Tampon-Fetishists Weekly, and taken out a second mortgage on your home in order to purchase a potentially extremely luctrative plot of land on Neptune, which is just waiting for the sun to go supernova before it becomes the next Ibiza.

And for goodness sake, if you're using Firefox, switch on the pop-up blocker. (Tools-->Options-->Web Features)

Blink

PS I will trade my plot of land for some real estate on Venus, which I hear will ultimately become a much cooler place to be. But my subscription to T-F Weekly is not however for sale.

Author of the fantasy thriller, Insensate - available for all ebook readers and iDevices. Find out more >here<. Only 49p/99¢!

Blink, I haven't got any real estate on Venus but I do have an online diploma if you are interested. I also have a quarterly shipment of Viagra which I may be prepared to part with if you think it will enhance your T-F weekly pleasure.

Looking forward to doing business with you.
