What are your favourite websites? - Apart form this one!

Which websites do you visit a lot? Is there anywhere that you find particularly interesting or useful on the WWW that you'd like to tell others about? I am a big 'Amazon' fan and can spend ages browsing the books and music sections and I also like 'Lakeland Limited' especially for presents and craft stuff for Ellie. I also use UpMyStreet.com for useful local info' and Blink's babies site is on my favourites too at the moment. Let'sSingit.com stops me going mad trying to remember which song a particular lyric comes from, so that's quite handy too!

I'm currently using a few NZ sites, the most useful being one which tells me the current time in NZ (worldtimeserver.com) which is helpful before making phone calls and XE.com, the universal currency converter site as well as a few property sites and others that relate to the area we are moving to, such as the local newspaper's and school's websites and tourist information stuff.

So how do you spend your browsing time when you are not posting on SO?

Its sad but true but apart from work and family info stuff this little ol site is about it. I click on to give abreak when writing. If I have a favourite I have had to look at lately its about cushings and the message board section on clothes swap is so human its wonderful. It is a great site built purely to help others.
Blinks babies are a big feature too and the little children like the pics printed off, the little boy we seem to have aquired HAS to blow a kiss to the babies before bed most nights.
Good thread Voice

Does the mad shark ever load Sharky?

I do regularly read several other sites and contribute to a few now and again, but SO is definitely the main site I use and is probably the one I've been visiting the longest.

I've been looking at holiday sites recently, but the amount of information available is almost overwhelming and I end up getting more confused than ever. I think it might be easier just to go the the local travel agents and ask for a brochure!

Thanks for signing Noxy, you have indeed found the fountain of youth!

Yup, the mad shark thing is working fine here. Maybe it doesn't want to work for you because of the 'shark steak' comment?
