So...what is your fave tipples?

I am into Blossom Hill White Grenache at the moment...not usually all that keen on Blossom Hill but this stuff is scum bum and tastes more like fruit juice than wine hence it dissapears from the bottle incredibly quickly!

It is a fruity (hint or raspberries) rose! :wine:

I had a lovely Chilean Merlot the other day. Very full bodied and smooth.

Tasted like wine, funnily enough.

I cant remember the names of my fav red wines. All i know if that, talking reds, im not keen on French wine. I would much rather have Australian or Italian wine.

As for white - to be honest so long as its not Chardonnay (which looks like someone has peed in the bottle, and often tastes the same) im not bothered. If its well chilled it will go down the hatch nicely.

I tend to get my wines through Laithwaites, so i dont get a certain wine week in, week out. Hence why i cant remember any of their blummin names :wallbash:

I'm not perfect, but im so close it scares me

I enjoy Aussie wine more than most of the French stuff I've tasted...I quite enjoy the old Jacobs Creek Shiraz and the occasional Hardy's red or white.:good:

I had a lovely red Chilean once but can't for the life of me remember what it was and have tried a few less satisfying chilean reds in my quest to find it again...

if the bottle is under £3.99 then it goes in the shopping trolley - sorry but that's about my limit, other than not liking sweet wine I've yet to meet a bottle of wine I didn't drink!

For general purpose drinking with or without food I often drink Beaujolais Village, like Slipper I like a Morgon (or Fleurie) but they tend to cost more. One tip - don't overlook private wine shops, they may look more expensive but often their 'house' reds and whites are value for money - my local guy does one (I think it's a French, cotes de Gasgoine) for around four quid and it's good.
