Woolworths and MFI

I'm amazed that these companies have/are going bust. I just don't understand how these huge companies with household names can go belly up. It has to be down to some serious mis-management.

Also heard that DSG was in trouble as well. Amazing.

I actually think it will be quite sad to see Woolworths go.

I haven't been in a Woolworths for years, purely because it doesn't do anything that another shop doesn't do.

It's not as cheap as a supermarket, and so it having 'everything' doesn't appeal.

It's not as specialised as HMV or Zavvi, and so I wouldn't go there for CDs/DVDs.

I wouldn't buy any clothes there at all (maybe I'm not the target market for this to be fair)

And it always seems cluttered and a bit 'poundshop' esque to me.

It always just seemed to 'be' there to be honest, I'm not hugely surprised it has failed.
