Hi haydon

Sporadically the site won't log me in automatically, even though I've told it to remember me. It gives me a log in form to fill with survivorfan pre-entered, I have to do a password. It's a pain in the gonads. I don't think I've tweaked anything my end to make it behave in this over-protective and annoying way.

SFan is this to do with passwords expiring after a fixed time (60 days?), so the screen requires you to enter your old password and then a new one?

I get this occasionally (well, presumably every 60 days or whatever the interval is) and it's a pain in the neck Smile

I'm not really sure - but it must be cookie related. Your log in details are retained in a cookie file.
Maybe your kereo firewall is stopping the creation/saving of this cookie file. I've not used that firewall before so I can't really advise but normally they have a section about cookies. See if you can configure the acceptance of cookies somewhere in your firewall prog.

Sorry SF, but I really don't know what is causing this.

Have you got a setting on your browser to automatically delete cookies when you exit the program?
DO you have some sort of privacy software installed on your machine that 'covers' your internet tracks? If so, this may be deleting your cookies periodically.
