View Full Version : John McCrirrick floopy 07-01-2005, 09:04 PM ...is possibly the most revolting man I have ever come across. Discuss. Dolores 07-01-2005, 09:05 PM I would Floopy - but I really don't think there is anything else to add!!! Glad germaine didn't rise to his pathetic attempts at baiting her earlier! Shame that gobby Lisa did though! Eternity 07-01-2005, 09:20 PM He has to go, he is making me feel physically sick!  floopy 07-01-2005, 09:27 PM Oh my god, just got a shot of John's belly and grubby Y-fronts   Shark_Attacks 07-01-2005, 09:35 PM It's revolting but he is such an interesting character. I like him because he is awful! He has to stay in to cause more arguments :) Flip 07-01-2005, 09:39 PM I actually can't stand John McCrirrick and can find nothing redeeming about him at all, not least his hair which I find near on vomit inducing.... But, bless his insecure cotton socks - he is a product of his upbringing, boarding school [ obv. with no female influence and the brainwashing of male superiority {without any substance or backup whatsoever}] ... despite his insiduous and revolting being - I quite like him. for goodnes sake flippydoodah shut up!!! oops was I talking out loud there??? floopy 07-01-2005, 09:40 PM he wears a real fur hat  Bob 07-01-2005, 09:41 PM I would Floopy - but I really don't think there is anything else to add!!! Glad germaine didn't rise to his pathetic attempts at baiting her earlier! Shame that gobby Lisa did though! Agree. Lisa seems to think she is some kind of hard nut, don't like her and don't like him. Lock them in the sauna together and lets see them sweat it out. i feel Lisa would not be so gobby if she didn't have an audience. John would be but then he is vile. Bob 07-01-2005, 09:43 PM I actually can't stand John McCrirrick and can find nothing redeeming about him at all......................... despite his insiduous and revolting being - I quite like him. Eh? Critique 08-01-2005, 12:11 AM Yes he's absolutely vile - but then I thought that just from catching him occasionally at the race track (on tele of course) vile, vile, vile. And did I say vile? Dolores 08-01-2005, 06:53 AM Oh my god, just got a shot of John's belly and grubby Y-fronts   this was one of the last images in my head before I went to sleep ... I am happy to report I had no nightmares ... maybe I will get flashbacks later! One gets the impression he's only taken one pair of pants in with him doesn't one!! And yes his hair makes me feel sick too Flip! Human hair in sink holes etc is one of my big big phobias (if that's the right word) and to find one of those long pieces that go over the top of his big head trapped round the workings of a plug hole would make me physically sick for a week! Bob 08-01-2005, 09:26 AM I hate the way he cals his wife "the booby" I wonder what it is about him that makes her stay. And if he isn't as bad as we are seeing and it's all just and act to make us hate him and get thrown out, why make yourself appear so vile? just be boring and sit in the corner. By making himself controversial I don't think John will be first out. maxine 08-01-2005, 10:06 AM Oh my god, just got a shot of John's belly and grubby Y-fronts   He reminded me of the wheelchair character, Andy, in Little Britain. Whatever else about him, I thought his diary room observations were pretty spot on. At least he's under no illusion that people might like him and he was totally honest about his reasons for being in there. Money. Which, ultimately, is what we know they're all in there for. karenh 08-01-2005, 10:08 AM I didn't see last nights programme, but I've seen John McCrirrick in interview and other programmes (Have I got News for You etc.), so I already knew that he was a total @rse. Sounds like he's just acting true to form. Obnoxious! I'm pretty sure he is only in there to rub sparks of Germaine Greer. I hope she doesn't rise to it, because that's what he wants. That said, him being there might be quite entertaining. It's always the ones you don't like who make the show watchable. Pandora 08-01-2005, 03:15 PM he wears a real fur hat  Well he ought to be punched to a pulp for that alone, but then there are crimes against comb over hair, huge nappy like y fronts, spitting while you talk, bogey eating, farting and wearing a ludicrous overcoaty thing to consider too ! I hope they keep him in though, and get rid of bland Jeremy or the up her own ass, madge from neighbours voice Lisa L'anson ....... secrets 08-01-2005, 06:14 PM John is just as he is wherever he goes. He thinks it's easy money, and that he will be first out - we have to make him earn his keep. floopy 08-01-2005, 06:18 PM Now I know I said I hated him, and I do, don't get me wrong, but he's kinda fascinating, and I sooo want to keep him in for the entertainment value Also, cos the rest of them seem pretty dull in comparison. Dolores 08-01-2005, 07:09 PM Now I know I said I hated him, and I do, don't get me wrong, but he's kinda fascinating, and I sooo want to keep him in for the entertainment value Also, cos the rest of them seem pretty dull in comparison. But I think with him out some of the others will flourish. he completely dominates all conversation with his totally outlandish opinions which he loves to shout/spit at the top of his voice. He's an oaf, a bounder and he needs fresh underpants! Critique 08-01-2005, 09:01 PM But I think with him out some of the others will flourish. he completely dominates all conversation with his totally outlandish opinions which he loves to shout/spit at the top of his voice. He's an oaf, a bounder and he needs fresh underpants! Oooh he's spoiling it cos I can't hear anyone but him. Why does he keep repeating everything? Why does he keep repeating everything? Why does he keep repeating everything? Why does he keep repeating everything? ils 08-01-2005, 09:19 PM He is just so LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad2: floopy 08-01-2005, 09:24 PM I think only Brigitte and Germaine know how to handle him - by ordering him around in a very loud manner. I think he's basically **** scared of women in general and his way of handling them is to put them down. When's the first eviction, anyone? Andrea 08-01-2005, 10:47 PM I think he is vile, repellant ans some of the things he says are unbelievable. But keep him in, I think he is hilarious. Yes he is loud but from the editing today others did get a say. Well Lisa Ianson did, someone needs tell her to shut up. survivorfan 09-01-2005, 08:51 AM I think he's basically **** scared of women in general I think he is a repressed homosexual. In his initial interview he was extolling the virtues of big boobs and 'breast sex' which means putting your penis between a pair of large mammaries. It struck me that it doesn't take a huge leap of imagination to see this as rogering a pair of buttocks. Dolores 09-01-2005, 09:44 AM I think he is a repressed homosexual. It struck me that it doesn't take a huge leap of imagination to see this as rogering a pair of buttocks. back with a vengance I see! ..... and thanks for that imagery, it will take a long time and a lot of drinking to get that out of my head! Critique 09-01-2005, 10:21 AM I know it's early days but they all seem to be getting on far too well so far. All very tolerant and cheerful. Boring!! Hope it livens up a bit  maxine 09-01-2005, 02:50 PM Picking your nose and eating it - unforgiveable. floopy 09-01-2005, 03:51 PM ...putting your penis between a pair of large mammaries. so that's an unusual an unusual thing for most men then, is it? ils 09-01-2005, 04:10 PM I just can't stand him - he makes me feel  The sooner he goes the better for me! Cat 09-01-2005, 04:10 PM I think he is a repressed homosexual. In his initial interview he was extolling the virtues of big boobs and 'breast sex' which means putting your penis between a pair of large mammaries. It struck me that it doesn't take a huge leap of imagination to see this as rogering a pair of buttocks. First..hello you. Yes I do think you are right...then again I feel that anyone male or female who has been thru their childhood in an unnatural state - single sexed boarding schools - will always have some confusion. I havn't seen enough so far to really comment on each (been a bit busy the last few days), but first impressions are of a man who needs to be treated like a child. maxine 09-01-2005, 04:12 PM The sooner he goes the better for me! Me too, ils. At first I thought it would be a shame to see him go first because he's such a love to hate figure, but he just dominates the programme and is overshadowing everyone. The man's a real show off. I've had enough. When do we get to vote him out? Pandora 09-01-2005, 04:15 PM First..hello you. Yep I agree Cat. Im sure that "Booby" wears the trousers in the house. He needs to be shouted down and dealt with like a naughty boy. Id love for him to stay in, despite the gross-out factor, as he winds some of them up so much ! ils 09-01-2005, 04:15 PM When do we get to vote him out? I don't know but certainly not this week! Last day is Sunday 23rd (I think) so probably not tomorrow but the following Monday :( maxine 09-01-2005, 04:17 PM I don't know but certainly not this week! Last day is Sunday 23rd (I think) so probably not tomorrow but the following Monday :( Oh dear. That long. Eternity 09-01-2005, 04:50 PM It's odd really, but the only redeeming factor in the show so far is John! Why?? Well, he is the only one that seems to have brought about any strong feelings in anyone, be it revulsion or hate. Currently he has sent everyone else to Coventry and has been sat on his own - all sulky like a kid. Dolores 09-01-2005, 04:52 PM Picking your nose and eating it - unforgiveable. Only, and I can't stress this strongly enough, only if someone sees you doing it!!!  floopy 09-01-2005, 05:12 PM Yep I agree Cat. Im sure that "Booby" wears the trousers in the house. He needs to be shouted down and dealt with like a naughty boy. See now I've got this ghastly mental image involving JMcC's naked **** and a spanking stick  Flip 09-01-2005, 05:37 PM This thread reminds me why I JUST ADORE you lot!!! sf and cos it is sunday I shall give you your Sunday name sfanny - lovley to see you, I blushed the deepest crimson but guffawed along with the rest at the re-entrance of Oscar standards!!!!! Dol - agreed re the nose picking. And Floops I reckon your right - he is a subserviant male whose only recourse of dominance is to lash out at those who he sees as repressing him. He is so typical of that 'ilk'. But I can't honestly ever imagine in the history of the whole of mankind removing 7 or more pairs of large greyish underpants from the washing machine and secretly hanging them on the line in the shadow of darkness, lest the neighbours see the sheer size and grubiness of his underwear!!! For everything else that woman [the Booby] does she is a saint. And I bet he has been living off the shock value of calling Mrs McCrirrick, the Booby for the whole of his married life!! Yawn ywan yawn!! floopy 09-01-2005, 06:05 PM I've been trying to google a pic of Booby, unsuccessfully - for some reason I'm totally fascinated to see what she looks like. Shame. Anyway I found this instead: http://www.witneyrfc.fsnet.co.uk/Images/misc/mccririck2.jpg Dolores 09-01-2005, 06:09 PM I saw Booby on the launch programme. She looked like a very ordinary woman who puts up with the whims of an very extra-ordinary man ... and the only reason I can think she would put up with him is ... love, strangely enough. Buzz 09-01-2005, 09:06 PM I have just caught up with BB after the last couple of nights being out and I have to say that this man is the most childish, brattish, pathetic excuse I have ever seen. He strops around like a petulant child not getting his own way and deserves a bluddy good smack in his horrible sweaty red puffy face. Ewwww this man makes me want to scream............. Buzz breathes again floopy 09-01-2005, 09:25 PM I totally agree Buzz, but somehow I do feel a bit sorry for him. He reminds me very much of a guy I used to work with who'd been dumped at boarding school by his parents at the age of 7 and got horrendously bullied for the next 10 years. He ended up having a major problem with women, especially ones who didnt conform to his only female role model - which was basically the school matron. To counteract the bullying, he developed a way of being very outspoken and rude, in an attempt to almost deliberately make himself unpopular and riculous, but under his own terms, so that if he had already done it, nobody else could. I just wonder if something similar isn't at the root of our John Eternity 09-01-2005, 09:48 PM I have to agree with you Floopy. I have just fallen out big time with a friend of mine who has put her 5 year old into boarding. He is one of the sweetest kids I know, and it breaks my heart what this is gonna do to him. I really think John should stay, he's an arsehole, but, he's about the only thing in there that is rocking the boat. That's what we all want to see isn't it? Critique 09-01-2005, 10:11 PM Well he certainly threw teddy out of the pram tonight didn't he? Can't say I blamed him in principle because I don't see how they can withhold milk and CBB backed down and let them swap something. What I didn't agree with was the way he rounded on the Group, it wasn't their fault after all. Beginning to see the personalities coming out now. Kenzy (ya know what I mean - Grrr!) loosing his cool big time over the closing of the door incident. Of course that was all triggered by John still being in a foul mood and blaming him for things beyond his control. Mmmm, things are hotting up nicely :) Andrea 09-01-2005, 10:19 PM I really thought it would be fun to have him in at first even though he was a disgusting slob. But after watching tonights program and some of the house mates trying to talk to him, but he was having his silence, I say get him out. survivorfan 09-01-2005, 10:37 PM Originally Posted by survivorfan ...putting your penis between a pair of large mammaries. : so that's an unusual an unusual thing for most men then, is it? Well - maybe not for Cockburns and John Mc Cririck, but probably for the rest of us. floopy 10-01-2005, 06:48 AM Boys, help me out here....! Andrea 10-01-2005, 09:31 AM Apparently, because John's been moaning so much about his diet coke, BB have been giving glasses of coke to the others when they are in the diary room. They can't take it out with them, they have to drink it in the diary room. Jeremy at first said no, but then when BB got him talking about John, he drank it. Kenizie said something on the lines of, whey, your cool BB. Now I don't know if they've gone out and told John about the diary room coke or not, put him in an even more foul mood if they do.  dab 10-01-2005, 09:38 AM Wonder what Bez thought when he heard about free coke in the diary room..? christine 10-01-2005, 12:27 PM He reminded me of the wheelchair character, Andy, in Little Britain. . LOL you have hit the nail on the head there :) I thought JM was an eccentric gent before he went in, now I think he is a sexist, arrogant, spoilt child in a rather large body. MariaRob 10-01-2005, 01:43 PM Well I never like John Mc - he is a total dinasour, someone who belongs in another century and a dirty old man. I did however begin to like him better when Germaine felt queasy on the merry go round and he had his arm around her and was comforting her. Now after his churlish and totally out of order behaviour over the milk, when Kenzie swapped his green beans and his rudeness to Kenzie over the door closing, I have gone back to my original opinion. I wouldnt want him voted out just yet tho cos gross as he is he is quite entertaining. Would hate to see him win though, imagine what a braggart he would be!! Lyndsay 10-01-2005, 01:44 PM Wonder what Bez thought when he heard about free coke in the diary room..? Hilarious! Eternity 10-01-2005, 01:47 PM LOL!! I agree with every word you wrote there MariaRob - spot on with my thinking! Isis 10-01-2005, 02:07 PM I totally agree Buzz, but somehow I do feel a bit sorry for him. I just wonder if something similar isn't at the root of our John Ditto this - I was just about to type something very similar - but you beat me too it Floops.......... Its the classic "bording school boy" isnt it - hasnt got a clue how to show/use emotions.....he was b*ggered by his peers and superiors (as he has said on BB on the night they went into the house)...the only female he probably had contact with would have been Matron - who was probably a very cold and bitter woman - she was probably a Matron cos no one wanted to wed her  and back then in the dark ages, the birch and cane were still used.......crying was for girls.....you get the picture......HOW CRUEL!!!!!!!! no wonder he is like he is....... Although when you see him with Booby, he so OBVIOUSLY adores her and her him and I think that underneath it all is an amusing and gentle chap, but he has been programmed by Public Schools to have a stiff upper lip - and like Floopy says, he does the rude and obnoxious bit as a safety thing! Pandora 10-01-2005, 04:21 PM See now I've got this ghastly mental image involving JMcC's naked **** and a spanking stick  Oh. My. God ......... (vomits n faints with the vileness of it all ....) Cat 10-01-2005, 04:44 PM I've just watched last nights BB and the bit with John in the Diary Room was hilarious. "NO I WON't TALK TO YOU" "SHUT UP..JUST SHUT UP" I roared. Bella 10-01-2005, 05:07 PM OMG, can J McC get any worse? Just seen his clips on Richard & Judy. I think he a severe problem dealing with people, maybe that's why he commentates on horses! He just doesn't know how to communicate does he? I don't know about his background, was he brought up in boarding school, if so then I think as has been highlighted here, that could be a basis for his rudeness and unable to feel comfortable. It would have been nice to see a different, softer side to John but if anything he has just made the public's assumptions of him a lot worse than was thought when he first went in. Luckily for him, I doubt this escapade will ruin his career doing what he does, but I bet it is his poor suffering wife that will end up picking up the pieces. The guy has a problem and really should not be in there, he just cannot deal with being ordered about. He knew what was to be expected of him beforehand but now he is showing himself as being childish, ignorant and utterly selfish. I do hope that he comes to his senses. btw - Is Germaine still there as there was no mention of her on R&J? secrets 10-01-2005, 06:10 PM Boys, help me out here....! I'm up for it how big are they? Critique 10-01-2005, 06:24 PM btw - Is Germaine still there as there was no mention of her on R&J? Yes she is still there - getting all possessive with the kitchen and falling out with Brigitte over it according to one of the web sites  floopy 10-01-2005, 06:29 PM I'm up for it how big are they? It was a very non-specific question, honestly :wink2: floopy 10-01-2005, 06:30 PM It dawned on me yesterday what a very wise decision it was to put John in the house - He's contracted to Channel4, and whatever else he does, th viewing figures for Channel 4 Racing and doing to go sky high when he comes out, I bet. Bob 10-01-2005, 06:53 PM I totally agree Buzz, but somehow I do feel a bit sorry for him. He reminds me very much of a guy I used to work with who'd been dumped at boarding school by his parents at the age of 7 and got horrendously bullied for the next 10 years. He ended up having a major problem with women, especially ones who didnt conform to his only female role model - which was basically the school matron. I just wonder if something similar isn't at the root of our John I wondered about the boarding school thing too as within the first 20 minutes of entering the house he mentioned three time that he was at boarding school between the ages of 6 and 18. floopy 10-01-2005, 07:02 PM Agreed, but then again, by the time you get to 63, isn't it about time you stopped blaming your upbringing and took responsibilty for who you actually are? I just can't decide between hating and pitying the man. Buzz 10-01-2005, 07:34 PM Agreed, but then again, by the time you get to 63, isn't it about time you stopped blaming your upbringing and took responsibilty for who you actually are? True Floopy, so true. His behaviour last night was just pathetic..laughable in places, but ultimately a spoiled brat, and I would not expect that sort of beahviour from a child. Bella 10-01-2005, 07:36 PM Agreed, but then again, by the time you get to 63, isn't it about time you stopped blaming your upbringing and took responsibilty for who you actually are? I just can't decide between hating and pitying the man. Well said Floopy and maybe his wife has got to take some of the blame too, for letting him have his own way all the time! And I feel the same I can't decide if I feel sorry for him or not........... Buzz 10-01-2005, 08:15 PM The man is a total banker....he apologised to kenzie for going ape and is once again NOT TALKING to anyone!! why?? they all said start afresh, forget what happened and he is still actin like a total prick. This man HAS to go he is not even entertaining now, just boring, sulking like a ****. and breathe! Buzz 10-01-2005, 08:34 PM why can i say banker and prick but not tw@t? very strange.. Eternity 10-01-2005, 08:42 PM Quote: "The housemates have been given 14 pheasants to pluck, John has decided he won't give a pluck!" It was on the prog just now! Cat 10-01-2005, 09:09 PM I'm lovin him....best laugh in the house. Yeah cos he's probably poohing his big smelly Y fronts  secrets 11-01-2005, 12:44 AM He is almost beyond redemption isn't he? This sulking is wearing thin - buck up John, we don't mind opinions, right or wrong, we don't mind who has them, but someone who says nothing - most of the time - isn't worthy of our comtempt. John - John who? Bella 11-01-2005, 09:31 AM His wife was on GMTV this morning and she is almost as bad as he is! She was not embarrassed about his behaviour at all and seemed to think that he had a right to behave like that. They do seem like the perfect couple! And she felt sorry for him being stuck in there with "those creatures"!!!!! Charming eh?! India 11-01-2005, 03:49 PM Hi Guys, havn't been able to see much of the show but did see Kenzie laying into John the other night you mention a door closing incident but what happened to set him off. Dolores 11-01-2005, 05:26 PM Hi Guys, havn't been able to see much of the show but did see Kenzie laying into John the other night you mention a door closing incident but what happened to set him off. wb India! To be honest I thought Kenzie's reaction was TOTALLY out of proportion and he could have handled it a lot better, instead of flying off the handle. However, "intervention" from "peacemaker" Lisa made it quite impossible for him to be chilled about it. basically John criticised him for being weak for doing what BB asked (ie. shut the door). Kenzie should have shut it, flicked a V sign to John and gone to bed imo! But then I'm 42 and he's 19! Flip 11-01-2005, 05:42 PM But then I'm 42 and he's 19! No you are not!!! :mad2: You are younger than me and I am only 41!!! But you can be older if you want and we can swap - eh?? Good idea - yes??:p India - helllooooooooooooooo and wb!!:D jaycee 11-01-2005, 06:45 PM He is driving me batty with how childish he is but I can't stop watching him - I did think he was going to relent last night when Jeremy & Bez were presenting the coat of arms thing to Lisa but no, off he went in a big strop again. The diet coke thing in the diary room was inspired - I roared. I hope he stays, the entertainment value is priceless Flip 11-01-2005, 06:48 PM If my Mother ever reads this I am dead, and I loved my Nana very much - but it has just dawned on me that John McCrirrick reminds me of my Nana!! Mrs Flip's Mum - Guess what?......................... :bye: Pandora 12-01-2005, 02:49 PM If its possible for him to get any more grotesque, McCririck has managed to do it apparantly ..... Check out the highlighted section below ... lol. Give them a day or so and they'll be giving him his own cutlery, plate, cup, glass and bowl !!! Bedtime banter http://images.digitalspy.co.uk/clock.gif Filed: 01:30, Day 7 by Emzi Tingay (http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds7418.html#) During a late night bedroom chat, Lisa revealed that she's been in therapy for the last two years. "It's the best thing I've ever done" she said. As John rubbished the idea of seeing a shrink, Lisa told him not to reject an idea before he'd tried it. But John then went on to reveal a sensitive side when quizzed about wife Booby by Kenzie and Lisa. When asked if he missed his wife after six days, the betting guru replied in sentimental tones "Oh yes, I do. She is the other part of Team McCririck". But in the lounge, Brigette, Bez and Caprice were being critical of John's coldsore problem. "I looked at them and I wanted to heave" said Kenzie. Caprice said that, after observing John's coldsores at the dinner table, she made sure that she washed all the glasses, cups and cutlery ""extra, extra well". At 1.30am, Brigette opted to clean the dishes rather than go to bed a few feet away from her ex mother-in-law as Bez confessed to Caprice that her chewing gum had been a life-saver as being in the Big Brother house had given him the urge to smoke cigarettes again. Ok Ok she is like some kind of troll, but he's no oil painting is he Eternity 12-01-2005, 09:39 PM I agree, but he has had the guts to say all this to Jackies face, the others are worse as they are doing it behind her back, and then smiling sweetly at her! Minklemar 13-01-2005, 11:04 AM Yes, that very nearly made the throw up - it was disgusting! John makes me feel sick. How very true. He is tactless, insensitive but above all, brutally honest. As you say, if he has a gripe he says it to the persons face instead of whispering and giggling behind his hand like Lisa L'Anson and Caprice keep doing. |
