View Full Version : First impressions
What do you think of the housemates so far?
I know of 6 of them, but only in their field so seeing them in the BB house this is what I think.
Germaine she looks like a fish out of water and a bit bewildered to be amongst people with very strong personalities. I hope she belts John
Jeremy. Phwor! Very cool guy, taking it all in his stride, very laid back. I'd share his water bed anytime
Kenzi. Typical bruv man, don't know if he talks like at all the time, but it would get on my nerves after a while. He seems a sweetie though
John. Stuck in the past. I bet the views he expressed tonight used to get a laugh 30 years ago amongst his male chums, but boy is he out of his depth in there. I don't like him and don't find is shock factor tactic funny. And I didn’t enjoy seeing him in his underpants at the end  . Also I wonder why he thinks Kenzi is a credit to the nation! Is it because he like big breasted women?
Bridgit. I like her! She's very OTT but seems so at ease with herself without being too cocky.
Bez. I've never seen him before other than performing. First impressions are that he could be a good laugh in there
Ex Dj (sorry can't remember her name!) I don't like her is my first impression. She seems to have the "look at me I'm hard" attitude going on.
Caprice. Early days yet, she seems ok.
Bella 08-01-2005, 11:31 AM I only watched a bit of this when it was shown on Richard & Judy. I have a feeling that John Mcwhatever the h*ll his name is, now acts on his reputation. I bet his wife beats him up and locks him a cupboard - how on earth could anyone stay married to this ignorant dipstick, I'll never know. Men like him make me sick and sad, they simply don't understand the meaning of the word equality.

Oh, I think he understands it very well. He's trading on his two dimensional shock-and-outrage value. It saves having to think of real things to say. The dick.
Eternity 08-01-2005, 12:57 PM The ones I like best so far are Germaine, Caprice (amazingly) and little Bez, they are the ones who to me are being the most natural.
Jeremy would be OK if he just cleaned out his mouth,
Brigitte looks like a fish out of water,
DJ lass just doesn't ring true,
Kenzi is a waste of space verbally,
John? Well let's not get into that thing, what an utter pillock!
secrets 08-01-2005, 06:15 PM I think Bez is going to grow on me.
Dolores 08-01-2005, 07:10 PM I think Bez is going to grow on me.
Me too - i like him so far - but feel he will be dominated by too many show offs and loudmouths.
floopy 08-01-2005, 07:58 PM I think the drugs will wear off anytime soon and he'll be a whole different kettle of feesh
Lyndsay 08-01-2005, 09:23 PM Bez - My favourite, yes he's addled his brain, but it still works. He's a sweetie, I like him.
Brigitte - Mad. Biding her time, seeing how other people are nefore she unleashes her true self. Hilarious! One of my favourites.
Germaine - Thinks she's more intelligent than she actually is, or she wouldn't be in there. Too po-faced and sanctimonious for me.
John - Worst advertisement for Boarding Schools EVER!! Poor guy. Totally screwed up. But hi is extremely disgusting.
Jeremy - Boring, young boys and girls will love him. Up himself.
Kenzie - Bless..thinks he's a black american rapper. Actually he reminds me of my nephew, innit.
Lisa - Not sure. Don't know anything about her.
Caprice - What you see is what you get. Not much underneath the surface once you scratch it, but nice enough woman.
floopy 08-01-2005, 09:29 PM Germaine - Thinks she's more intelligent than she actually is
Germaine Greer was born in 1939 Melbourne Victoria. After education at the Star of the Sea Convent in Gardenvale, and then winning a Teacher’s College scholarship, Germaine Greer enrolled at Melbourne University in 1956. She graduated with a BA honors from Melbourne University in 1958, an MA with 1st class honors from Sydney in 1963 and the following year she went to Cambridge University in England on a Commonwealth Scholarship. She received a PhD from Cambridge in 1968.
Blimey, so how intelligent does she think she is then?

Sorry but i know plenty of daft people with loads of qualifications. I don't judge intelligence by that. I judge intelligence by actions, conversations and life experiences. I'm sure lots of hideous dictators were very well qualified on paper, doesn't actually mean a lot though. Shows you have a good memory, or good literacy skills, not necessarily, intelligence.
floopy 09-01-2005, 11:48 AM You think you could wangle a PhD from Cambridge with a good memory and an expressive flair?
Not sure if you're comparing Hitler with Germaine Greeer here - do expand, if you are.
Dolores 09-01-2005, 11:50 AM You think you could wangle a PhD from Cambridge with a good memory and an expressive flair?
I bet she flashed those enourmous knockers to get that!!!! j/k!

Point Number 1) Yes.
Point Number 2) I'm saying that qualifications do not always prove intelligence.
In brief:
Germiane; Like a lot
John: Warming...could go hot or cold very quickly tho
Jeremy: PHOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRR
Kenzie: PHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRR
Bez: Stop wobbling
Lisa: Annoying
Caprice: YAK
Briditte: Odd
To win = Germaine
Eternity 09-01-2005, 04:44 PM I am definitely all for the oldest and the youngest - to me they have been the most honest and real to themselves.
How have your opinions of the housemates changed since thet first went it?
Mine haven't all that much. Germaine was a fish out of water and got out, i still love Brigitte to bits, she's great fun, John is still gross, Bez is just as laid back and funny as I first imagined, Lisa is as bossy and obnoxious now as she was withn 3O minutes of them all being in there. Kenzi is a sweetie but the way he talks still gets on my nerves, too much swearing young man! Caprice is still ok, I neither really like nor do I dislike. And finally Jeremy, he's the only one that I have had a real change of heart about. I saw a very good looking young man walk in that house but no mater how good looking a person is,if they are ugly on the inside it soon works its way out and I find him a bit ugly.

The change being
Germaine: Gone
John: i find him very funny to watch
Kenzie: Like but no Phooar
Jeremy: Still like but lost the PHOOOAR factor
Lisa: Annoying but still okish
Caprice: Dont' like
Bridgette: Like very much, the best infact.
To win - Bridgette
Woodstock 14-01-2005, 06:55 PM The Edwards bloke I enjoyed his moment with Kenzie the other night when they shared a joke about the number 2 situation with John.....very funny. However, as one of lifes more uglier people, I'm programmed to dislike his type. Honesty does it!
Mr McCrirrick I like him. I like his forthrightness. I find him entertaining to watch. It's all showmanship, but boy does he do it well!
The Greer woman The lady in grey lost the plot a little bit. Was obviously itching for sex so had to get out of that dreadful house I s'pose.
Kenzie (what a daft name!!) Wise decision to choose someone with his life experiences to be a housemate. I could listen for limitless hours to his endless wisdom...
Bez (Not Best!.....Bridget!!) How f***ing hilarious was his brief exchange with The Jackie Monster the other day?? They can just show that moment on the end-of-year tv highlights and that will suffice for me. The look on Bez's face was a perfect expression of "what the f**k??" However I was a little concerned when Bez announced to Bridget that he thinks he could be "up for conviction" I just hope it's nothing too serious, 'cos I love his presence in the house. And will he still receive an appearance fee if he is sent down??
The Jackie Monster (kindly donated by Jim Hensons' Workshop) I feel a little sorry for her. I thought it was awful of the housemates to disappear quickly from the table while she was rambling on about whatever it was she was rambling on about the other day. However, that's the way it appeared but you never can tell how the CBB editors manipulated that moment. If they did manipulate it for maximum effect, they did it very very well because it looked like Jackie was being ostracised by the whole group and it just looked awful on her. I really think she ought to be very quiet about Bez's teeth though......pot......kettle......black.....
who's left.....??
Bridget What a comedown for her - two decades ago she was trading blows with Eddie Murphy in a Hollywood Blockbuster.......and now.......she's playing "bottletops" with dear old Bez. Bless 'em. I don't think Jackie is "Flavour Flav" of the month with her though...
Lisa She's extremely sexy.....but very loud. Part of me wants to bonk her brains out....the other part wants to reach for a sock (a clean one, mind) and shove it in her gob.
How can they af(Ford Capri)ce? What on earth did she do with that single days earnings of £500,000 that she is now forced to spend two weeks in the presence of these folk for a comparable pittance?? False features, false laugh....she's bound to win!!

You could always do both at the same time!
Woodstock 15-01-2005, 07:59 PM you know I hadn't thought of that.....that's a damn good notion E
