I took the test on: http://uk.tickle.com/test/monkey/start.html

Coastie, your result is Baboon!

No party is complete without you! Your extreme confidence means you are never without admirers, though sometimes it might be misinterpreted as cockiness by those who don't know you as well. But once people get to know you, they'll realise that much of your allure comes from the inside — that's where you keep that charm and grace that endear you to all you meet. You are probably not a good poker player because your expressive face reveals whatever emotion is coursing through your primate brain at any given moment.

Because you're so often at the heart of impish trouble, people may be surprised to learn that you can frequently be introspective and self-analysing, and that you are sometimes prone to internalising stress. But your partners will be extremely happy to hear that your skills between the sheets are unparalleled and self-assured in the monkey kingdom. But then, what would you expect from a baboon who's not afraid to show off their bum in public? er hum....

Dolores you result is......

Whether you're standing up in front of family and friends, or as the humble but confident orator in front of your company's executives, your voice and personality exude friendliness and warmth. A devoted partner, when you're in the right relationship, you can't imagine why others might stray from their one and onlys. Still, that doesn't mean you aren't flirtatious — a trait revealed in part by your need to perform — whenever you can. Perhaps it's your drive to be "on" all the time that encourages your natural disposition (in the wild kingdom anyway) for fruits and vegetables. But that's not to say in the real world you don't enjoy a good neighbourhood barbeque where you and your brood can slaughter the chicken, lemon tart, and good company. You tend to be family-focused and expressive emotionally. It wouldn't surprise us, actually, if you were the sort to lead a car full of friends or family in song as you head off over the river and through the woods. You are frequently attracted to other gibbons like you, and find the best match with someone whose life is similarly full of happiness and warmth.

... so basically bs! cos I'm very anti social but I suppose my family and friends are most important to me - so it's half true! .. and I'm not attracted to other gibbons - I'm attracted to weirdos who will neve make me happy!!!!

Orangutan
It's unlikely that anything we say here will surprise you, as you are an insanely smart, perceptive individual who spends a lot of time deep in thought. You're known within your family (at least your family in the wild) to be the one who blazes new trails and is sometimes nomadic. Unlike other certain primate wanderers, however, you might choose to trek out on your own instead of with large groups. You might have been the type of child looking for your own adventures and telling your parents not to worry as you boarded the train in some small, Czech town without a station name. Oh well, you're careful, right? Hiking is something most orangutans love, but then again, they just like getting out and stretching their limbs — whether between vines, branches, or sales racks. And if you're not as enthusiastic in the athletic arena, you probably just stretch your mind more to make up for it and that keeps you well balanced. If you do not have a family yet, don't be surprised to find yourself as a doting parent when you do. You have deep affection and respect for your children and entrust them to grow and develop into strong, aware young people.

Me to an absolute "T"!!

I'm a gorilla

You are known within your circle of friends as a rock solid, steadfast caretaker. You protect those you care about, no questions asked. Perhaps some see you as a little rough around the edges, but if you'd just stop baring your teeth, people will see straight through to your heart of pure gold. Still, you don't have to abandon your in-your-face attitude, just lighten up a little and give people the chance to get to know you. Because when you make friends, they're often friends for life. Interestingly enough, you might find that the people who are most drawn to you are those most unlike you, people who are excessively quiet and self-conscious. But that may be because they're secretly attracted to the way you can comfort and care for people. You might not really attract other gorillas until it's time to settle down. Otherwise, there's too much opportunity for you to butt heads with someone as stubborn as you can be. Many of your gorilla brothers in the wild are especially fastidious around their nests. For that reason, we could understand if you're the sort to take your shoes off at the front door. Just be sure to warn visitors if this is the case. No telling what kind of temper tantrum could flare up if they don't wipe down the sink when they're done with it.

andrea, your result is Chimpanzee.

That's right, chimps are the Einsteins of the primate world (provided you're not counting that species known as human). That's why you might find that you're known as the tinkerer and the whizz amongst your friends and co-workers. Like most chimpanzees, you're probably an excellent problem-solver and can often find an answer for any conundrum that presents itself — whether you're trying to escape from your cage, making new tools out of twigs, or figuring out how to lure that cute chimp from the next tree over with your charm and affections. But beyond your brains, you're also known as gregarious and empathetic — you'd help a little old baboon cross the street and then run off to your next venture. If you're like your chimp cousins in the wild, you'll also have an interest in homeopathic meds and will believe firmly in being healthy through exercise and play. Many chimps steer toward vegetarianism, though the natural world won't begrudge you a meaty meal if that's more your style. In an argument, you rarely speak without thinking about the emotional toll it might take on the other person, but because you are such a rational thinker, you rarely find yourself in arguments for very long. You tend to convince people of your thought process and resulting opinion with very little resistance. And for you, the best part of the argument is when you can make up — kissing is one of your favourite activities, and one for which you're known.

I suppose I'm a bit like that, but I'm not to sure about the being healthy through exercise bit though:blink:

Queeenie, your result is Lemur! (whats one of them the?!?!?!?!!)

It's no surprise that you're a nocturnal creature whose best hours are after the sun goes down (at least that's how it'd be if you were still roaming wild in the jungle). Because so much of your time is spent out and about in the evenings, popping from place to place, your social life is unparalleled in the monkey kingdom. You may feel a little shy sometimes, but it doesn't take long for you to meet people and become part of whatever group you find yourself in. You have great physical ability that you showcase best when you're feeling particularly playful. In addition to your overriding sense of fun that travels with you wherever you go, you might also have a sense of purpose as a strong environmentalist. Your brothers in the wild tend to support forestry regeneration efforts and have even been known to plant a tree or two on their own. When it comes to affection, you tend to be attracted to other lemur types and sometimes baboons — as you are both frequently at the centre of social situations.

Cheers...I guess we're just gonna have to face the reality that we are simply in a league of our own...or from the same totally out there planet...or simply that we are twins seperated a birth by a nasty scientist researching the difference between nature and nuture! :shocking:
