I actually felt quite sorry for this woman last night, she really didn't have a clue what she was in for and seemed totally phazed by the whole thing.

However, the one I really do feel for is Germaine, she seems to be doing nothing but working her socks off cooking on the whims of Lisa (I'm hungry again) and now Jackie.

Hope this silly game ends today!

Okay i've done the jokes.

Jackie isn't too bad.
Watching the live stuff she is very seductive, in a non sexual way.
There is a wealth of experience there, learnt the only way it can be - by experience.
The men did fawn over her one or two were obviously 'star struck', and they did suck up a little, but i think she is worth persevering with.

She does seem a very nice person, caring, and if she is out to score points without looking at the camera every five minutes, like some i could mention, she definately is.

The power of money eh? I found this aspect a bit nauseating. The way they were hanging on her words. I couldn't help thinking that if she had been a fat, grotesque nobody they would have been having a good old p***take behind her back but the way they were hanging on her every word was quite sickening.

I want to see her with no make up on- anything has to be better than what she looked last night! It was awful. I would rather grow old gracefully than look like somebody has clasped the sides of my head and pulled as hard as they can without splitting my head open and pinned it like that. Then injected me with gel that makes me look like a blown up doll. Thats not a normal face lift, its hideous!

Oh dear... what on earth are plastic surgeons doing? Do they all sit around and see how extreme and they can go? "Ha ha, you should see what I did to my last client!! :wink2: "

Brigitte 'Miserable' as Ex's Mother Joins Big Brother

Brigitte Nielsen is devastated by her former mother-in-law’s arrival in the Big Brother house – describing it as the “worst thing that’s ever happened to me”.

The pair had not seen each other since Brigitte divorced Rocky star Sylvester Stallone in 1987, after 17 months of marriage.

Hollywood astrologer Jackie has famously called her ex-daughter-in-law a “gold digger” and “hooker”.

Since last night the pair have been polite to each other, but when Jackie, 71, was out of earshot, Brigitte told the other housemates: “I was so happy and now I’m miserable.”

When Caprice said Jackie seemed nice, the towering model warned “she changes”.

Discussing the moment she walked through the door last night, Brigitte said: “She’s got a face you’d never forget.”

Jackie, who says her dogs send her psychic messages, had no idea about the concept of Big Brother.

She was shocked to learn that cameras would be watching her every move and could not believe the housemates would be filmed sleeping, asking: “Who is Big Brother? Is there a private room somewhere?”

Brigitte has started to chain-smoke since the arrival of her ex-mother-in-law.

To add to the torment, the 41-year-old has been tasked with heating the toilet seat for Jackie, after the newcomer was appointed Queen Mother.

Meanwhile, feminist icon Germaine Greer has tried to lead the housemates in a revolt against Big Brother.

She shouted: “There’s a revolution going on. I will give you Big Brother’s ball for breakfast.”

But when she suggested the housemates take off their clothes and sit naked, the others were having none of it.

The more I think about it the more I think bringing Stallone in was a bad idea.

If Brigitte walks and we're left with this grotesque, plastic faced hag then, well, I'll......I'll......carry on watching. But I won't be happy. I rather like Brigitte so far and think she's got a lot more to offer than the ugly, much older sister of Cruella De Ville.

I kept racking my brains as to who Jackie Stallone reminded me of and its Edward G Robinson. The poor old dear doesn’t know whether she is coming or going, she doesn’t know anything about the show although she is certain she is going to win! Perhaps she and John could do a “Michelle and Stuart” under the table – NO – toooo gross. I feel sorry for Bridget actually. I like her and hope she wins.

Why does Jackie seem oblivious to the rules of the show? surely BB producers told her about the fact she would be filmed 24 hrs a day, even while sleeping? Jeremy very diplomatically asked her "do you understand the concept of Big Brother?" when she seemed surprised they would all be sleeping together in a dormitory and that the bathroom had cameras in it!

I roared when Jackie said, before she came into the house, "I think Ill do ok in there, Ive been taking cooking lessons from TV and I can do sandwiches now. Theyre really very good ....":laugh:

And if she's 77 years old, Im the bloody Pope .......... 82 if shes a day.

I don't know Jackie and had never heard of her before she went into the BB house but my first impressions of her were that she is a scary bitchy woman. i only have that impression because of the way people reacted to the news that she was going into the BB house and then her appearance because it is bizarre, she looks frightening. When she entered the BB house I thought she snubbed Brigitte, maybe she was ready with her guard up, preparing to do battle with Brigitte. This is a girl she has not seen for twenty years (?) maybe the Brigitte of young was a bit more feisty, maybe BB stirred it a little.

Whatever Jackie doesn't look right in that house, and now that she has acknowledged that Brigitte is not going to fight with her she seems to have relaxed. But all this asking BB for wine and harp music. WTF???

Is she playing some kind of game or was she (or her people) really not briefed properly. Did she let others do her talking and not follow it up?

Whatever, she doesn't look right in that house. I feel uncomfortable watching.

The other HM's seem to think that Jackie has been brought in to make trouble for Brigitte and Jackie seems to think that she was going to some A list celeb holiday camp and that Brigitte would be there too. I don't know if she knows she's been sent in as the Cat.

However strange she may appear to the others, however weird her ways I did not like seeing all the other housemates sit down to dinner together and then one by one leave the table without excusing themselves leaving Jackie talking on her own. She may have been talking utter tripe but that’s not the point.

I may be a soft foolish woman but I actually felt sorry for Jackie yesterday. She is an elderly lady who seems totally bewildered by the whole experience. The way she was whittering on yesterday about harps and Champagne makes me think she is a tiny bit senile. Also WTF is she on about she came to “enhance” the show? She has clearly been totally misled by BB. I felt a bit sorry for her when she was whittering on at the dining table and everyone basically ignored her and got up and left. I thought it was a bit rude. She clearly thinks she is some kind of big star and perhaps she is across the pond but here she is just really a figure of fun with her housemates slagging her off and laughing at her behind her back and the GPB just saying Oimigod. How is she going to feel when she sees the film back! I can’t see her lasting the course.

John McCririck and Jackie Stallone have fallen out after the racing pundit called his Big Brother housemate "pathetic".

The tic-tac man laid into the astrologer for not pulling her weight.

Jackie, Brigitte Nielsen's ex mother-in-law, hit back saying she was in a house "full of morons".

John, 64, told Jackie: "You do nothing round here. You're completely wrapped up in yourself."

She replied: "You're right. I've contributed zilch. It's not my goal in life to organise a group of kiddies."

John continued the attack, saying: "You can't be pathetic all your life."

But the American countered: "Do you think I'm here to please you?"

She added: "I thought you were some genius journalist or something".

Although she is ghastly in the extreme, Jackie actually makes me laugh, because occasionally she takes the p!ss out of herself. She knows she is as old as Methusalah with forty two face lifts, hence her saying yesterday, "Im off to have a lie down, would one of you come in to my bedroom from time to time, to take my pulse?" to roars of laughter ......

The thing about the harps/harpists music/wine with her dinner etc, is just Jackie acting the Diva, although the part about expecting the house to be a mansion was a bit weird.
Sometimes I wonder what she is on, other times she is so astute, and witty that she fools you. She may be a little on the slow, bone idle, pampered side, but she is no fool.

John McCririck, as usual, fancied a row and decided to tell Jackie in a round about way that she was a spoiled, pampered, idle cow. To which Jackie, calmly replies, "yeh I know" .... basically saying, talk to the hand John .... which he cant stand, because he is always up for a rumble and for people getting defensive. He isnt getting that from her, and I love watching his flummoxed face.

Going back a few posts earlier, when folks have commented on the fact that everyone simply left the table while she was talking. Did anyone actually notice that Bez was still eating?? Very ill-mannered of them all.

I am not really happy about either her or John going to be honest. Yes, they are both gross at times, but they have generated a lot of interest between them, and not all negative.

They are a different generation and breed to the rest in there, and they have both made me laugh out loud - as well as cringe now and then admittedly. I actually like the contrast they have to the rest

I would have been exstatic (sp) if Lisa had been one of the nominees, I would have redialled for the other a million times if need be to just get her out of there. She is just an out and out bitch, and I am willing to bet the 3 witches planned their voting beforehand - one way or another on her say so.

I am going to watch with great interest to see who voted for who, and just pray that Lisa was third runner up. She is gonna be so delighted when she finally reads just who the public wanted out first! :laugh:

trouble is getting her there in the first place!! Know what you mean though [that hair???] - she strikes me as a grubby old article - the sort of thing people reject in jumble sales!!

I actually do like her, but I wonder how 'right' it is to find amusement in the doolalliness of an 84 year old - if I believed for one minute she was fully compusmentus then I probably could laugh along with the masses, but I do think she has lost the plot somehow. is this down to 'HOllywood' and her LA lifestyle or is it just that she is a confused old lady??

I suppose all the right health checks were made before her entry into the house - but she just strikes me as a bit loose in the head.

OK, do any of you have a relative of that age? I do, and I can tell you now that Jackie is probably terrified and confused right now. She will fight verbally because it's all she can do - she doesn't really understand what is going on, and I think BB was callous to put her in there.

She was told right off that they would be filming her if she showered - and she declared right off she wouldn't shower...............who can blame her at her age???

Also at that age they thrive on their own routine and order, they have set times and ways they do things, and if they can't do them they do get a bit dissorientated and upset.

I think Jackie has been cruelly conned into this - not Briggite, she knows what's what and has the full backing of the rest of the house, Jackie is on her own, and she knows it.

I am begining to really feel for this lady, yes she's old, and yes her surgery has done her no favours, but she's is just trying to cope best she can in a horrible situation for someone her age - be that 77 - 84, who cares?

I like her too, still don't know about the face. I am completely fascinated by her.

All I can think about when I see her is the following:

I would like to spray her down in a warm soapy shower hose,
wash her face with some gentle face wash after using make up remover
Wash her hair

Blow Dry her hair straight and cut it a little shorter
Put some Moisturiser on her face
Put a little mascara on her eyelashes, perhaps use a very light eyebrow brush on her eyebrows and

walla.... she would be a much cleaner looking person!!

I know I may sound very very sad but this goes through my head the whole episode of Big Brother! I just had to share it!
YOu have taken the words out of my mouth Claire....I was just looking at the pics of her doing her face and thought, she looks like she needs a bluddy good bath and scrub, but then when you think about it, the amount of surgery she has had there is probably lots of scar tissue on her face!

SHE does, however, make me ROAR laughing, I dont know if she means to be funny (I hope so, as I dont think she had a clue at what CBB was about and I dont think there is any need to be nasty and spiteful about her, just because she looks a bit strange, doesnt make her a bad person) or not, but some of the lines she comes out with are priceless.......I also like the fact she doesnt give a toss about what she says and who she says it to - bit like John the rude sexist devil (note to John - when you leave the house, Bedrock is 1st left and keep walking.....Fred and Barney have missed you!!!) and John fascinates me even if I find him rude, at least him and Jackie arent slagging peeps off behind their backs like Lisa blummin Ayyeeeeeeeeeeeee'Anson!

In her interview tonight Jackie said she had no idea what BB was.
Davina asked her about the producers coming out to see her in LA, but Jackie said she was told that the house would have chandeliers.....etc.
I wonder if BB taped the conversation they had with her, otherwise it's their word against hers.

In her interview tonight Jackie said she had no idea what BB was.
Davina asked her about the producers coming out to see her in LA, but Jackie said she was told that the house would have chandeliers.....etc.
I wonder if BB taped the conversation they had with her, otherwise it's their word against hers.

She would have had to sign a contract, so I presume all the rules were listed in there. She really appeared to have no idea of the concept of Big brother and that was apparent from the start, so I don't think it was a put on, also she seemed to have grasped (towards the end) that the reason BB put her in there was to have a fight with Brigitte, she seemed quite upset when she realised that.

How can she sign a contract and still be so clueless.

I don't think she can be putting on such an act I think BB have maybe stretched the truth a bit.

I loved her summing up of the housemates to Davina. Spot on!

Who was it that said something that offended her and she wanted to hear it again, was it Jeremy?

Call me an ole softy but I really got to feel sorry for Jackie and at times embarrassed for her. She's an old lady who is totally out of touch with the way people live normally, having lived the rich and famous lifestyle. It was awful watching her looking confused and bewildered.

Despite the jokes I pity her for what she has allowed to be done to her face and squirmed when they kept showing her those awful pictures of her in bed and waking up.

I also found her very entertaining and witty at times. She certainly had a few good answers for that disgusting pig of an individual, John. I wanted him out because he makes me physically sick. I just hope poor Jackie can retrieve some of her dignity and go back to her pampered life as quickly as possible. I'm sure that she is regretting doing it now.

I don't think this experience was wise at her time of life and I question the judgment of whoever decided that it would make good television.

I am going to make a huge U turn here. I now think that bringing Jackie in was inspired. She is a very funny, astute lady and I don't think she has done herself any harm at all. Yes she is grotesque to look at, but her wit and clever insight makes you look beyond that.

I will seek her out now and have become a fan. I am glad for both her and Brigitte that they have sorted out their differences.

I agree with you Cat, but sadly Brigitte has been slagging off Jackie since she left the house - so though Jackie may be thinking she has reconciled, she is going to be so upset if she has watched BB since she left! :sad:

Would Jackie have been treated so badly in there if she hadn't of been Brigittes Ex MIL??

Would she have got more respect and help with things if she had just been Jackie - an elderly famous Bev Hills Celeb?

You bet ya she would, in fact they did when she first came in - most of them, till they knew Brigette was 'suffering' through her being there. I never saw her being nasty to Brigette once, in fact quite the opposite.

It was the HM's that started being foul to her, she was fine that first night - confused, bit jet lagged, having problems with the ummm funny English accents some had! but she wasn't rude to anyone except John and he asked for that anyway.
I was thinking along the same lines myself, it was almost like infant school playground behaviour watching them all sort of "gang up" on Jackie, I exclude John and Bez here, John was just himself - rude and obnoxious, and Bez on more than one occassion told the others off for disrespecting her, as he said, "shes just an old lady man"

It also made me dislike Lisa and Caprice MORE!
