Has gone straight in at No. 17 in the charts ......
Tom Hark (We Want Falmer)" charted above the likes of Girls Aloud, Blue and Christina Aguilera.
All profits from the single are going towards Brighton and Hove Albion's efforts to build a new stadium at Falmer, on the outskirts of the city.
The single has been backed by the Skint record label of famous fan Fatboy Slim.
The lyrics of "Tom Hark (We Want Falmer)" have been written by poet Attila the Stockbroker, a lifelong Brighton fan and the club's poet in residence.
He also produced and sang on the record, which is a re-working of 1980s ska tune "Tom Hark" by The Piranhas, often adapted as a football chant by fans. The lyrics include: "Listen Mr Prescott as we tell you how/We need our Falmer stadium, and we need it now." & the cover of the single shows the proposed stadium design.
Brighton and Hove Albion have not had a permanent home since the Goldstone Ground closed in 1997.
The team played at Gillingham for two years before returning to Brighton to play at Withdean, a 7,000-capacity athletics stadium in the city.
The club wants to build a 22,000-seater stadium at Falmer, but the final decision on whether the scheme can go ahead rests with Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott.
He will make his ruling after the long-running public inquiry into the scheme re-opens in February.
Go out and buy it now and help the Seagulls get their new stadium! :)
