Is Jackie Stallone really that powerful a woman? I didnt really know much about her before, apart from her being Sly's mom and looking a bit like freak show (but they are like that in the States). She slept in full make up last night (yuk). Mind you the option seeing her bare faced is too scary to contemplate! She just comes across to me as a bit of a batty old dear!

so it is true she did come on the show, darn it i missed it! what were their faces like when they saw each other? Bridge and her Ex MIL i mean. i will tune in to watch it now.

Oh yes, she really is MariaRob, and all via her son. Sly was actually raised by foster parents from aged 5 - don't know the details, but I am willing to bet she was unheard of until he became famous, and then she made herself big news. She is a classic Hollywood style, hang onto the tail of kids, Mom, and many are scared of her.


However, I was just delighted to see John giving her a right dressing down for being a lazy cow - not that he's a lot better, but it was good to see! :laugh:

Hollywood hard man Sylvester Stallone is being sued by five of his former cooks and cleaners, who claim they were fired for breaking rules which included not making eye contact with the actor or his mother.

The group were hired as temporary staff in 1995, but say they were dismissed six days into their 15-day contracts. They are seeking $1.5m in damages from the star of the Rocky and Rambo series of films.

The group say Stallone's wife, Jennifer Flavin, told them they could be fired if they looked directly into the actor's eyes, and they should "back out and vanish immediately" when Stallone entered a room at his former Miami estate.

They were also allegedly banned from speaking to Stallone's mother, Jackie - "nor will you let her talk to you" - and from eating or drinking anything from the house.

The suit claims they were required to undergo daily searches, and maids were to check guests' suitcases "to see if they took towels or silverware" when leaving.

Jackie Stallone is said to have given each of the employees a pen and a signed photograph of herself for Christmas. The lawsuit says Jennifer Flavin accused the employees of stealing the items, and fired them for speaking to Ms Stallone.

The workers' lawyer, Ellis Rubin, said: "Sylvester Stallone is no Rocky or Rambo in real life. Here is a man of earnings, probably $1,000 a minute when he works, and millions when he doesn't work. And he beat some housekeepers and cooks out of a small amount of money."

But the Stallones' attorney, Martin Singer, called the claims "purely fictional".

He said: "They were fired for absolute cause; they didn't perform the work as requested. We're confident we will dispose of the lawsuit quickly."

God, that is just laughable isn't it? I really can't believe people actually behave in this way.

Who do these people think they are? The Stallones that is. Although I suppose it could be the employees cashing in on their employers' fame.

I dont think that she is a threat as such, I think that she is a very outspoken and rude person, and from being married into the "family" Brigette knows this and is probably more worried about the scary old hag saying things out of turn that may upset and offend her family on the outside.....

I think that Brigette has been very dignified and at present is carrying her own.....

YES the Celebs know what they are signing up for, but come one, WHO would have thought that they would exhume Jackie Stallones body, fit it with a robot so that it talks and walks, all in the name of entertainment???????

Jackie appears to come across as a nice enough old dear - but she has been very public in the past about her dislike of Brigette, and to be honest, thats what made me unsure about Bridge when she entered the house, however, I have really warmed to Bridge and if she doesnt walk and Bez gets evicted, I would really like her to win!

Someone should give ol has-been Sly and his freak show Mother a good firm kick up the ****. Although, be careful with Jackie, that **** might not be hers.

Not sure whether the old dear can be vile or not. She probably can be, but as Brigitte isnt a threat now, she will probably tone any vileness down. Also, I think its finally got thru her head that the cameras are on them 24 hours a day and so hasnt let herself go yet.

Im not surprised she slept in her make up on the first night, she'd need to chip that lot off.
I doubt if Jackie will hack it in there for the full 18 days. If the GBP dont evict her, she will walk, after "gracing us with her regal presence" for a few days.
She is too pampered, too spoilt and too bewildered to take part for the full stint, surely?

I agree with your comment that she will "walk" Pandora. She is much too pampered and spoilt to stick it for long. I bet she really hates "slumming it" in there. She said she was in it to win so she will have to find some itsy bitsy thing to blow up into a good reason to leave I reckon. Although Mr Q was very cruel the other night when I said I wonder what she looks like without it - he replied - well have a look in the mirror in the morning then peed himself laughing!!!!! what a charmer, Im sure you can see why I love him so much now!!!!

I agree with you Queeenie - almost the first thing I thought was OMG, what is she going to look like without all that on! Would put you off your cornflakes :laugh:
